Infants

In our Infant program, our teachers are always interacting with the children to encourage their mental and physical development, in addition to holding and cuddling them. Your child will be introduced to our baby sign language program, learn to grasp toys, vocalize sounds, recognize pictures of familiar objects, and acquire a variety of other skills. Teachers work with each child in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of feeding and play. The teacher reinforces the infants’ development without disrupting their daily schedule.

Beginners

The Beginner program, for children ages 2-3, introduces more routine and structure to the children’s activities and schedule. Your child will build vocabulary, learn foundational mathematical skills, and will be encouraged to use simple reasoning to explain everyday occurrences. The concepts of social studies, diversity, and Spanish are introduced as our Beginners examine and explore the world around them.

Baby Nido (Infants)

Smiles, cries, coos, and babbles flood the classroom with expression—a classroom intentionally designed to offer a homelike environment that will nurture and soothe. Our educators inspire and motivate these quickly developing minds and bodies, observing and recording their growing interests recognized in their gazes and discoveries. Nido (Toddlers)

Our Nido program ensures that toddlers develop their expressive language skills, experience empathy, engage in pretend-play, and practice social roles as they navigate their first relationships and begin to create their own identities. Educators in our Nido classrooms work to build strong bonds not only between children and teachers, but between teachers and parents as well. Toddlers

This is the time when children use their bodies, senses, and emerging problem-solving skills to learn about and make sense of their world in the ways most meaningful and effective for them. Our toddler educators give your toddler responsive, individualized attention to help build their skills. Activities range from the simple to the complex, with work areas arranged by subject. Montessori materials not typically found at other schools are used, as children choose activities based on their own interests. We focus on sensory and perception; self-help; language; physical and motor skills; social and emotional growth. We’re also here when you need us. Primary

Learning revolves around tangible experiences. Practical life exercises like sorting, pouring, or washing dishes are introduced. Children also use concrete materials such as movable alphabets, cubes, cylinders, and other objects to learn. They learn to work together, with each others’ best interests in mind. This broad-based program allows children to explore a range of subjects and ideas: science and nature, music and movement, sensorial experiences, cooking and nutrition, cultural awareness, history; geography, language arts, and mathematics.

A Child's Way Kindergarten-Preschool

The 2's program is a parent/child class is a child's first exposure to a preschool setting. The class environment and activities are nurturing and developmentally appropriate. A few goals are socialization, hands-on learning, problem solving, & learning to separate from parents/guardians.

A Child's Way Kindergarten-Preschool

Preschool classes (3 yr olds) are thoughtfully planned to support the social and emotional growth. They are rich with hands-on experiences and promote exploration building many pre-reading & pre-writing skills. A few goals for this group is socialization, problem solving and independence.
