We know that homework completion, accuracy, and understanding are of top priority for parents with children in after school care. Our tutors offer guidance and assistance with homework and have additional exercises for each child to work on based on his/her individualized plan.

Drop-In Care

With our Flex Care program, you can purchase child care days in advance to use, as you need them—all year long. You get reliability and flexibility, and your child gets to experience our proven curriculum in a fun, safe, and secure environment. You can purchase prepaid cards in five-day increments through your school, and each is good for one full year. After completing the enrollment paperwork, just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.

Infant Classroom

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need, as well as opportunities to begin learning about the world around them. Our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, celebrates your baby’s natural curiosity within the classroom environment and models how to explore safely. Nurturing teachers narrate your baby’s experiences to build a strong foundation in 21st century skills for problem solving and building relationships.

Twos Classroom

In the Twos classroom, patient, caring teachers guide children through playful exploration. They help your little one navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity. Your toddler is constantly learning new things about the world around them. At The Goddard School®, our team is here to work with your little one every day as they play, learn and gain the skills they need to prepare for preschool. Our Wonder of Learning™ education program will immerse your child in literacy, science, arts and math brought together in one activity for a more holistic—and fun—approach to learning.

Infant Daycare

Infant program offering a physically and emotionally safe place for your baby to explore and learn about the world around them. Shoe-free policy ensures that classrooms are clean and safe for little ones to move around. Daily routine includes time outdoors, group time, and discovery baskets for sensory exploration. Trained teachers spend time cuddling, singing, and reading to your child.

Toddler Daycare

Toddlers are on the go, exploring and learning new things throughout each day. Classrooms are kid-size in design, allowing children to do more things independently, building their self-confidence. Photos of the children’s families cover the walls of the classroom, creating a sense of community. Daily routine includes: outdoor play, circle time, dance & movement, reading, art, music, and free play.

Child Care Program

A gentle, protective oasis designed to give our littlest bundles total security. The custom daily routine is built entirely around your baby’s individual feeding and rest needs, mixing in plenty of soft sensory engagement, direct physical affection, and early motor building.

Toddler Care Program

An active, bright environment that channels natural curiosity into beautiful milestone moments. Active toddlers practice language development, fine motor skills, and creative play while learning healthy social interaction, simple routines, and emotional confidence.

Infants

In our Infant program, we focus on keeping each baby happy, comfortable, and eager to explore their classroom. Teachers use positive interactions to support each baby’s mental, physical, and social development in a safe, nurturing environment. We follow babies’ cues and provide individualized schedules. Our Baby Sign Language program helps teachers connect with infants, building trust and supporting early language skills. Families stay connected with daily updates and photos through our Links 2 Home app.

Beginners

In our Beginner program for ages 2–3, children build confidence and independence through self-help skills like dressing themselves and washing their hands. Teachers support big emotions and encourage curiosity with hands-on activities. Our Links to Learning curriculum builds vocabulary, introduces early math concepts, and helps children begin to use simple reasoning. Spanish is gently introduced, enriching their learning environment.

Sher Bear Home Daycare is a loving, Christian-based childcare program. Licensed since 2007, I hold degrees in Early Childhood Education and Criminal Justice and am Illinois Gateway Certified. CPR/First Aid certified. We provide a safe, nurturing environment and teach children important safety basics

Infant Care

Sher Bear Home Daycare provides loving infant care in a safe, nurturing, Christian-based environment. Licensed since 2007, CPR/First Aid certified. We focus on gentle care, developmental support, and a warm routine where babies feel safe, loved, and supported as they grow.

Child Care Program

Students learn IL Early Learning Standard-based concepts, using fun and creative themes, led by our state-certified and highly qualified staff. Our goal is to provide opportunities for each child to achieve their ultimate potential, academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
