Each day at our summer camp is a thrilling new adventure. Campers dive into hands-on activities, from science exploration to creative and performing arts, sports, and games. We offer a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor activities, special guests, and on-campus events. Our camp leaders set a positive example and create a warm, friendly place where every child feels welcome and supported. Your child will gain confidence, learn new skills, and come home eager to tell you all about their day!

Children's House Kindergarten

Kindergarten in the Montessori Children’s House is a pivotal year where learning comes to life. As the leaders in their mixed-age classroom, children deepen their academic understanding and grow in independence, confidence, and collaboration. With guidance from trained Montessori teachers, students choose their work and engage in hands-on materials across subjects like math, geography, language, and practical life. Our VPK/Pre-K program is is centered on interdisciplinary projects that create engaging learning experiences through hands on, open- ended explorations. This state-funded program is provided at no cost to families, with optional extended hours of care available for an additional cost beyond the standard VPK hours. Within this framework, children are prompted to engage in small peer groups, fostering the exploration, design, and presentation of their projects. Collaboration and communication become the cornerstones of all activities. This approach encourages learners to formulate hypotheses, investigate processes, and draw conclusions, empowering them to articulate and defend ideas, building confidence in their ability to formulate individual opinions and become the authors of their own learning journeys. Through these interdisciplinary projects, children engage in foundational learning skills such as math, science, social studies, and language arts in meaningful ways.
