Early Preschool

It’s never too early to start preparing your child to be ready for school, and that’s why our parents—and their children—love our Early Preschool classroom. As a stepping stone to Preschool, our Early Preschool program incorporates STEAM activities designed to address the individual learning needs of 30- to 42-month-old children. We focus on understanding routines and developing independence.

Toddlers

Our age-specific Toddler classrooms offer a stimulating environment for active little learners. Experiences are outlined to guide your child’s development in four main domains: language and literacy, fine motor skills, mathematical thinking, and scientific thinking. Your child will flourish while learning social skills, routine, coordination, and self-control.

Infants

For ages 6 weeks – 12 months, our infant program blends comfort with curiosity. At this stage, everything we do is designed to provide a welcoming environment and support developmental milestones, including: strong focus on tummy and story time; warm, nurturing, safe environments for building meaningful connections; fostering individual development and self-help skills; unique personalizations such as nutritional guidelines, schedules, and more. With your infant, our goal is to create an individualized program that caters to the specific needs of your child.

Toddlers

For ages 1 - 2 years old, our toddler program builds focus and friendships. Research shows that as toddlers make developmental leaps and build skills for the future, they need to spend time well focusing on exploration and discovery, music and movement, outdoor play, group time, learning centers, language focus, breakfast/lunch/snack times, story time, and rest time; support in newfound independence, language, and social skills; and a relaxed environment to foster individual development and self-help skills. With your toddler, our goal is to create an individualized program that caters to the specific needs of your child.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten children have a prospective all their own. Active, inquisitive and eager to learn, they flourish in an environment that lets them learn through exploration and communicate through language, song and rhyme. Scott Foresman-Addison-Wesley Math includes everything to satisfy this unbounded curiosity and energy with a rich range of materials and activities. Children use grouping strategies and patterns to explore numbers to 20. They use handwriting skills to write numbers, sequence, order, or compare groups of objects and numbers to 20. Children use objects to act out joining and separating groups, then write addition and subtraction sentences that show sums and subtraction to and from 10. They'll explore units of measurement, shapes and solids, and the concepts of time and money.

Preschool

For ages 3 - 4 years old, preschool learning takes shape with rewarding new challenges.  Let us help your little one take the first steps toward independence. At the preschool level, we focus on a range of independent, teacher directed, and small group activities that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery. In Mathematics, children develop problem-solving and reasoning skills, learn number concepts, explore basic fractions, and understand the value of money. Science introduces the scientific method, concepts of time and weather, and methods of measurement, fostering curiosity about the world and the solar system. With advanced technology like Smart Boards, Smart Tables, and a S.T.E.A.M. room, our program enhances learning through interactive tools, preparing students for future success.

We remain committed to supporting our community in any way that we can. That includes drop-in care to help families as routines change. With U-GRO’s Flex Care, you can purchase child care days ahead of time, so you have a flexible, reliable, simple way to navigate scheduling needs. Prepaid Flex Care cards can be purchased in five-day increments, which are honored for one full year. Flex Care is also a perfect option if you stay home but need an occasional day off, or to take advantage of our summer program options.
