Infants

In our Infant program, we focus on keeping each baby happy, comfortable, and eager to explore their classroom. Teachers use positive interactions to support each baby’s mental, physical, and social development in a safe, nurturing environment. We follow babies’ cues and provide individualized schedules. Our Baby Sign Language program helps teachers connect with infants, building trust and supporting early language skills. Beginners

In our Beginner program for ages 2–3, children build confidence and independence through self-help skills like dressing themselves and washing their hands. Teachers support big emotions and encourage curiosity with hands-on activities. Our Links to Learning curriculum builds vocabulary, introduces early math concepts, and helps children begin to use simple reasoning. Ivybrook Academy’s Toddler Preschool program is designed for the youngest citizens of our school community. This half-day program provides the perfect combination of play, learning opportunities, and flexibility, and we specialize in channeling their desire for exploration into activities that help them learn and grow. 2-Year-Olds

Infants

Lightbridge Academy’s infant program is an ideal, developmentally appropriate environment for little ones as they learn to move, pull up, roll over, and eventually crawl. Toddlers

Infants

Your baby is off on new adventures and we will be there to help him or her grow every step of the way. Each day, time is set aside for age-appropriate physical activity such as tummy time, sitting up, crawling, and eventually standing and walking. We also connect and play with infants through sign language, picture books, and of course singing! In our young infant classroom, we honor the napping and eating schedule your baby has followed at home, making the transition easy for little ones. In our older infant classroom, we will encourage a morning and afternoon nap as well as scheduled meals. Time is set aside for age-appropriate physical activity, such as tummy time, sitting up, crawling, and eventually, standing and walking. We connect and play with infants through sign language, picture books, and song!

Toddlers

At Balanced Family Academy, we provide a well-rounded educational experience for toddlers through our Full Circle Curriculum, which introduces a new thematic focus each month. Our daily routine includes immersive storytime sessions, engaging group activities, and creative arts projects, all designed to foster cognitive and motor skill development. When your child is ready to transition out of diapers, our experienced staff will guide and support this important milestone, ensuring a seamless process. At this stage, children begin to interact more with their peers and the world around them. In these rooms we introduce circle time and learning activities where we encourage children to sing along to songs, interact with different art mediums, and learn their first words! In these classrooms, children will be encouraged to express their independence by washing their own hands, feeding themselves, using utensils, and choosing their own activities during center time. Toddlers have the opportunity to explore new and exciting concepts through sensory activities, creative arts, games, and various group activities. The toddler rooms explore in multiple settings throughout the day including their classrooms, multipurpose room, and outdoor play areas. The toddlers also love to participate in the weekly Jump Bunch and Music classes.
