Challenger Middle School studies include higher-level concepts and activities such as writing in active rather than passive voice; solving problems using measures of central tendencies like mean, median, and mode; evaluating the validity of arguments; modeling the Earth with globes and maps; interpreting the mood of a piece of music; and examining the effects of colonization and imperialism on world history. Erdkinder: Junior High

Erdkinder: Junior High combines classroom study with agricultural work and a micro-economy, integrating humanities, mathematics, and science with daily second-language instruction in Chinese or Japanese. The program prepares students for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in grades 11–12.

By balancing traditional instruction in reading, writing, and math with art, music, and foreign language, the Stratford preschool curriculum teaches 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, and problem solving. The open, caring, family-oriented atmosphere at Stratford School helps preschoolers feel safe – physically and emotionally – and nurtures the whole child, both mind and heart. Pre-Kindergarten

The Stratford pre-kindergarten curriculum teaches students to ask questions and think critically. Pre-K students begin their day with imaginative STEAM play, designed to develop their natural curiosity and problem-solving skills. They enjoy Spanish class several times a week, and progress at a faster rate than other pre-K students because of Stratford’s focus on English language fundamentals.
