Infant

At Stepping Stone School, we prioritize secure and positive relationships with parents and infants in a warm, safe, and clean environment. With low teacher-to-child ratios, our caring educators build trust and connection through one-on-one interactions. These daily interactions foster healthy brain development through holding, soothing, play, and responsive communication. We maintain consistent communication with parents, providing daily reports on eating, sleeping, diapering, and developmental activities. Guided by the Platinum Learning for Life™ curriculum, we nurture comprehensive infant development, promoting physical exploration, social-emotional growth, cognitive engagement, and language development. Our program empowers infants to thrive in a nurturing and enriching environment.

Pre-Kindergarten

Stepping Stone School's pre-kindergarten program prepares children for Kindergarten readiness by focusing on pre-reading cognition and important social-emotional skills. Our highly trained teachers tailor weekly theme-based learning plans to each child's needs, following the Platinum Learning for Lif™ curriculum. State-of-the-art learning centers promote mastery in literacy, math, science, technology, art, and music. Writing skills are developed through journaling and BOB Books, while dual language proficiency is practiced in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). Our program emphasizes independence, cooperation, and character building through classroom responsibilities and small group activities. With a comprehensive approach that includes literacy, language, physical activity, and critical thinking, we support children's overall development at Stepping Stone School.

We provide programs to ensure readiness for first grade. This includes reading for kindergarten, and a continued learning of technology and art. Our kindergarten classes combine our L.E.A.P early education curriculum with an environment of fun, open-ended exploration, investigation, discovery, and building self-confidence and self-esteem. It’s the perfect opportunity for optimum growth in academics, socialization, physical fitness, and emotional well-being.

Toddlers

A typical day for TLE® toddlers is filled with, stimulating, age-appropriate activities and materials. Our early childhood development toddler curriculum focuses on eye-hand coordination, motor development and problem solving.

Private Kindergarten

As the culmination of our School Readiness Pathway, our Private Kindergarten program offers your child a small class size and big opportunities. The curriculum features award-winning national programs in literacy, math, and handwriting. Physical education, fine arts, social studies, and science and nature are also explored, while we work closely with your child to meet important social-emotional development objectives. Please note: All students must meet the state’s kindergarten entry-age requirement to enroll. Please contact your local school for further details.

Wondercamp

An action-packed summer for children (ages 2 to 12). Our exciting Wonder Weeks include topics and activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination. We serve healthy food, play outside daily, and take field trips too! Parents will love our app with live streaming video and photo highlights.

Make this the summer of “I did it!” At Summer Adventure Club, your child will explore, play and grow as an athlete, artist, engineer and more through hands-on activities that nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®.

Drop-In Care

We all have our own unique schedules and demands on our time. At The Children’s Courtyard, we recognize that scheduling needs may vary by family—or even by the day. That’s why we offer Drop-In Care: Purchase child care days ahead of time, then use them as needed. Prepaid Flex Care cards are sold in five-day increments and are good for a full year. Once you’ve completed your enrollment paperwork, we just need 48 hours’ notice to reserve a spot for your child.
