Primary Program

The Primary program is Preschool through Kindergarten age children and consists of five main areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language Arts, Math and the exploration of Physical, Cultural & Natural Worlds.

Elementary Program

The Elementary program is available at our Huntington Beach location and is comprised of children in first, second and third grades. The curriculum inspires students to become independent learners who appreciate and understand their world.

Primary

A 3-year Mixed-Age Community: Children from ages 3 to 6 years old, including kindergarteners, learn together in the same classroom. Program is designed so that children remain with the same teachers for three years, to create a consistent learning space.

Elementary

Children ages 6 to 12 years old learn in small classes. Our teachers focus on individual interests and learning styles.

Children's House Preschool

Our Children’s House preschool and pre-K program lays a strong foundation for academic and social success by honoring each child’s natural drive to learn. In this mixed-age Montessori environment, children explore subjects like math, language, science, and geography through hands-on materials and individualized lessons. The daily routine also includes real-world activities—such as preparing snacks or watering plants - that build independence, confidence, and a sense of purpose. As they grow at their own pace, children develop critical thinking, leadership, empathy, and the skills they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. Full-Time tuition listed. Children's House Kindergarten

Kindergarten in the Montessori Children’s House is a pivotal year where learning comes to life. As the leaders in their mixed-age classroom, children deepen their academic understanding and grow in independence, confidence, and collaboration. With guidance from trained Montessori teachers, students choose their work and engage in hands-on materials across subjects like math, geography, language, and practical life. GGUSD State Preschool

The GGUSD State Preschool Program is a highly rated preschool experience for 3 & 4 year olds. We have highly qualified teachers, a strong focus on student social/emotional development, as well as a play-based learning environment. We have 21 classrooms at 11 sites around the district.

Pre-Kindergarten

The Stratford pre-kindergarten curriculum teaches students to ask questions and think critically. Pre-K students begin their day with imaginative STEAM play, designed to develop their natural curiosity and problem-solving skills. They enjoy Spanish class several times a week, and progress at a faster rate than other pre-K students because of Stratford’s focus on English language fundamentals.
