Make this the summer of “I did it!” At Summer Adventure Club, your child will explore, play and grow as an athlete, artist, engineer and more through hands-on activities that nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®.

Private Kindergarten

Full-day program providing a kindergarten experience that will fully prepare children for elementary school. Child-led and project-based curriculum encourages teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Daily routine includes STEM activities and interactive games. Caring teachers ensure that your child gets plenty of practice in math, reading, writing, and science.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Drop-In Care

Our Flex Care program allows you to purchase child care days in advance. That way, you can use them when you need them—all year long. You’ll love the reliability and flexibility, and your child will love our proven early education curriculum and fun, safe, secure environment. Prepaid cards come in five-day increments and can be bought at your school. Each is good for one full year. Once you’ve completed the enrollment paperwork, just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.

Before & After School

Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Stay and Play! The Extended Adventure Wrap-Around Care program at The Discovery Center provides a warm and relaxed environment, where children can play with friends and continue to learn while having fun. Play-Grow-Learn When attending before school, children are served breakfast between 7:00-8:00am. After school, children have the opportunity for additional large muscle time, creative activities and games, as well as enjoy some downtime as needed. Snack is served at 4:00pm.
