Before and After School Care

BrightPath's School-Age Program is guided by five pillars of character: Respect, Trustworthiness, Honesty, Caring, and Self-Expression. The program provides a mix of instructional and self-guided activities in a non-competitive atmosphere - outdoor sports, cooking projects, science activities, board games, comfortable reading spaces, and time for children to socialize and explore their interests. Homework help is available with teaching staff support.

CAMP MATT

Camp MATT at the Mattatuck Museum returns with 6 exciting weeks of art, history, and hands-on creativity! Kids will explore galleries, experiment with unique materials, and build new skills each week. Camp runs 9:30–3:30 with FREE before & after care available.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Our kindergarten classes combine our L.E.A.P early education curriculum with an environment of fun, open-ended exploration, investigation, discovery, and building self-confidence and self-esteem. It’s the perfect opportunity for optimum growth in academics, socialization, physical fitness, and emotional well-being.
