We found Cadence after moving to the area during COVID and like everyone else, we were unsure what the post-pandemic school year would look like (on top of our daughter adapting to a new learning environment). During a time when no one had guidance about how to handle things, Cadence did everything right. The welcomed our LGBT family with open arms, reassured us and our daughter that she was in a safe environment and reinforced that every day in the care they provided to the children, the clear communication they maintained with us and the challenging learning curriculum they encouraged, without ever pushing beyond boundaries. They made us feel supported in our parenting decisions and helped integrate that into our daughter’s daily school routine so she had unity amongst her parents and her educators. Our daughter moved on to a Pre-K program for the 2022-2023 school year at my wife’s new place of employment but we still talk about our friends and good times at Cadence daily.
