Toddler Classroom

As toddlers are rapidly developing both physically and cognitively, the Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered, and their language and communication skills are nurtured. A lifelong love of learning starts early, and we believe in providing brand-new learners with the tools they need to be successful. In the Toddler classroom, our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, comes to life as expert teachers harness children’s natural curiosity, guiding them to explore the world around them through hands-on learning, play and asking questions. Teachers support your child's social-emotional growth while helping them develop important physical skills. At The Goddard School®, our team is here to work with your little one every day as they play, learn and gain the skills they need to prepare for preschool. In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Children in our Investigators classrooms learn through developmentally appropriate play in an environment where they can thrive. Toddlers in the Investigators Classroom will exercise their natural curiosity while being exposed to hands-on activities and be encouraged to interact with peers to start building social skills. Older toddlers are still on a journey of independence and learning about the world. In our Young Detectives Classroom, children fill their days with a mix of educational activities and peer interaction. Older toddlers in the Young Detectives Classroom will exhibit more independence by completing self-care routines on their own (blowing nose, putting on coat and shoes, feeding themselves, etc.). They will continue to work on communication skills, increasing vocabulary and using words to express themselves. To help lift ease the workload for families, we’re partnering with the Cuties Care program to provide diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers while they attend our school. For $10 a week, Cuties Care covers the cost of diapers and wipes. We know parents have a million things to manage—we’re happy to cross diapers off the list. Prices are subject to change.
