Pre-K

Our VPK/Pre-K program is is centered on interdisciplinary projects that create engaging learning experiences through hands on, open- ended explorations. This state-funded program is provided at no cost to families, with optional extended hours of care available for an additional cost beyond the standard VPK hours. Within this framework, children are prompted to engage in small peer groups, fostering the exploration, design, and presentation of their projects. Collaboration and communication become the cornerstones of all activities. This approach encourages learners to formulate hypotheses, investigate processes, and draw conclusions, empowering them to articulate and defend ideas, building confidence in their ability to formulate individual opinions and become the authors of their own learning journeys. Through these interdisciplinary projects, children engage in foundational learning skills such as math, science, social studies, and language arts in meaningful ways.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

A successful early learning environment fosters a community marked by meaningful relationships among young children and the adults in their lives—parents, teachers, and caregivers. These connections flourish through shared learning experiences in nature and through emotional connections. The community cultivates and sustains developmentally appropriate conditions that enable children to optimize their individual potential.
