Bright Stars Family Childcare

We are a mother and daughter team, and after working for several years at a child care center (and before that, as babysitters), we decided to open our very own licensed, home-based daycare! We help parents with poty training. Our program focuses on learning and developmental milestones.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

TopHat Infant

Our teachers nurture infant growth with care, encouragement, and research-based strategies tailored to each child. Responsive caregiving builds trust, while language-rich routines foster cognitive and emotional development. We create a warm, stimulating space where infants thrive.

TopHat Pre-Toddler & Toddler

Pre-Toddler Program fosters independence, curiosity, and social skills through guided activities like sorting colors, using utensils, movement-based play. Toddler classrooms encourage exploration, literacy, and practical life skills, nurturing confidence & independence in a warm, supportive space.

H&A Child Care provides a clean, safe, and secure environment designed to encourage active exploration. The facility features a variety of indoor and outdoor play spaces with diverse and inclusive materials, including books, toys, and art supplies that reflect different cultures and abilities.

Infants

Give your precious baby the best start possible at Celebree School®. Led by a team of loving and dedicated educators, our infant care program features care a tranquil setting in which your infant will be held, rocked, and cuddled during feedings and before naptime.

Toddlers

Our toddler program focuses on encouraging our children to explore the world around them. Our teachers work to help our children increase strength, mobility, and language skills, while also helping them learn self-help skills such as feeding themselves. Toddlers in our programs begin to learn social skills, such as sharing, through activities such as circle time and sensory games.

DC Prep Benning Elementary (PK3-3rd)

Pre-Kindergarten program for 3s and 4s where children develop the social, emotional, and cognitive competencies that lead to a love of school and learning. The school day includes morning community meeting, guided literacy and numeracy, and centers including dramatic play and sensory exploration.

Child Care Program
