Infants

Lightbridge Academy’s infant program is an ideal, developmentally appropriate environment for little ones as they learn to move, pull up, roll over, and eventually crawl. Our infant curriculum creates a solid foundation for your little one’s future growth and development. By creating strong bonds, learning through play and stimulating their five senses, even our youngest students are encouraged to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. Primary caregivers introduce a theme-based curriculum, which is enhanced with enrichment programs such as Singing Sprouts, Spanish Sprouts and Signing Sprouts.

Toddlers

Toddlers are quickly learning so much about the world around them, developing faster than almost any other age group. They are all about speed — learning to sing, talk and run all at once. Lightbridge Academy’s Toddler Program is designed to make the most of every one of their fast-paced milestones. Our curriculum specifically addresses toddlers’ rapid growth and development by catering to their readiness cues, with the older toddler curriculum focused on preparing for preschool and beyond. When they display interest or signs of emerging skills, we can encourage them to move to the next challenge.

Infants

Our infant program, the Chickadees, provides a fun, safe and nurturing environment for your baby. The Laurel Tree Academy is your baby’s “home away from home”. To ensure a relationship of trust and emotional security, your baby will be cared for by a “Primary Caregiver”, a caregiver primarily responsible for meeting the needs of your baby each day. Your Caregiver will work closely with you to ensure that we follow the same, familiar routine that your baby has at home. Caregivers will hold, cuddle, talk and sing to your baby to help develop a familiar and loving bond.

Toddlers

Our toddler program in Mt. Laurel and Lumberton, the Sparrows, is an early development program designed for active, curious and mobile toddlers. We offer a fun and safe atmosphere that encourages physical, emotional and intellectual growth. Because this will be one of the busiest times in your child’s life, our teachers are energetic, engaging, and ready to help each toddler explore the world around them. They read, sing and play throughout the day which results in vocabulary advances for every child. Children at this stage have moved beyond infancy and are now mastering more complex skills that are needed for activities like painting, coloring, dancing, running, puzzles, imaginary play and games. Our curriculum recognizes that toddlers learn best by having opportunities to explore objects using ALL of their senses.

Our infant curriculum starts with regular playtime including belly and music time, exploration, stimulation, as well as nap and feeding times that we keep consistent with your baby’s individual schedule.

Toddlers

A typical day for TLE® toddlers is filled with, stimulating, age-appropriate activities and materials. Our early childhood development toddler curriculum focuses on eye-hand coordination, motor development and problem solving.
