Preschool Program

Hands-on preschool program with a strong focus on school readiness. Children are encouraged to think independently and express their individuality. Your child’s day is filled with creating, experimenting, and imaginary play. Curriculum includes: math, science, language, and spanish. Children begin to expand social skills and build friendships.

3-Year-Olds

At Ivybrook Academy, we celebrate the natural curiosity and energy of three-year-olds by providing an environment that fosters exploration, creativity, and foundational learning. Our half-day program is thoughtfully crafted to balance academic growth with imaginative play, empowering your child to build confidence and develop critical skills during this transformative stage of early childhood.

4 & 5 Year-Olds

At Ivybrook Academy, we understand the exciting growth and readiness of four and five-year-olds as they prepare for the next steps in their educational journey. Our half-day Pre-kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten programs are thoughtfully designed to challenge, inspire, and prepare young learners through a balanced approach of academic exploration and creative play.

Nursery Day School

This is preschool program that runs 2 hours and 45 minutes, five days a week. There is a teacher and an assistant with each class. The oldest classes have a maximum of 14 students. Class ratios are 6 or 7 students to 1 adult. There are additional specials classes offered weekly.

Lunch Bunch

The complement to the morning preschool. 2-5 day options are available . Youngest students may nap. Older students have time to play and get additional enrichment activites offered

The Malvern School Preschool Program provides children with a culturally diverse learning environment where children develop a positive self-image, respect for others, and foster their independence and curiosity as a learner. The curriculum is aimed at developing preschoolers’ skills in all areas. Children are introduced to math, science, and social studies through weekly themes and projects. Aesthetic expression is also encouraged through music and art activities. Our Preschool Program will prepare children for future academic success. Age ranges for this program are approximate.

Pre-Kindergarten

The Pre-Kindergarten Program at The Malvern School includes a balanced curriculum of math, science, social studies, computer, gross motor and fine motor activities, and artistic experiences. The curriculum is aimed at developing skills in all areas and preparing them for ongoing academic success. We provide personalized instruction offering children developmentally appropriate challenges that foster self-esteem and self-awareness. Age ranges for this program are approximate.

Preschool Pathways

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance.
