As the culmination of our School Readiness Pathway, our Private Kindergarten program offers your child a small class size and big opportunities. The curriculum features award-winning national programs in literacy, math, and handwriting. Physical education, fine arts, social studies, and science and nature are also explored, while we work closely with your child to meet important social-emotional development objectives. Our Kindergarten program gives children the foundation they need for success in elementary school and beyond. Our curriculum fosters children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth through hands-on learning experiences. Students build strong language, literacy, and math skills, as well as important social-emotional skills such as communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

Private Kindergarten

Give your child a head start on the years of formal education that lie ahead. A Child’s World’s Kindergarten program challenges both mind and body with its unique integrated curriculum of hands-on experiential learning. Children develop skills with an emphasis on creativity and problem solving. The curriculum focuses on reading readiness with an integration of the whole language with phonics. Children are introduced to all major mathematical concepts (with an emphasis on four-function mathematics). The thematic approach requires children to use their reading and math skills to complete exciting projects. Children at A Child’s World understand why education is important. Curricular goals and objectives exceed the Early Learning Standards set forth by the Department of Education.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.
