Junior Kindergarten

Your Junior Kindergartener will be taught by specially trained teachers using inquiry learning teaching methods. During small group instruction, teachers introduce subject matter specific content in literacy, math, science and social studies. Teachers guide students using inquiry-based learning techniques, so students not only understand the questions, but also, how they can find the answers, preparing your child for success in school. Your child will learn to use technology as a resource tool as he or she participates in problem solving activities reinforcing an understanding of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). They will be exposed to Spanish as the language is incorporated throughout the day in songs and games to train the ear and the brain for additional language learning. Summer Camp at Learning Paths Academy makes it easy for parents to keep their routines by providing an exciting, safe, activity-driven place for their kids when school isn’t happening. Put your child in our action-packed summer camp program for school age children, and get ready for a summer filled with exploration, discovery, and endless smiles. Our summer camp program begins at the conclusion of the school year and continues through June, July, and August.

Before & After Care

Learning and fun continue beyond the school day. Our school-age program, for children ages 5–12, is designed to match children's growing independence and expanding abilities. Students enjoy sports, games, and arts and crafts while forming friendships and working together. A quiet space for homework helps build focus and responsibility, while giving families peace of mind as they balance work and child care.

Pre-K

Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten and beyond by fostering classroom readiness skills, nurturing social-emotional growth through our character education program, and strengthening literacy and math skills. The Junior Kindergarten program is for four- and five-year-olds who miss the September cutoff for public or private school Kindergarten and who have completed a preschool program. It prepares them for kindergarten by focusing on literacy, math, science, and social studies. Children engage with stories, letters, sounds, and words to enhance literacy, while math concepts are taught through hands-on activities. The program also develops handwriting skills with creative materials and includes technology instruction. Social skills are fostered through interactive play and activities.
