Summer Camp

Summer is a wonderful time to explore new things and expand learning through a variety of activities. The days stretch out in front of each child, waiting to be filled with adventure, good friends, and just plain fun. Our summer camps provide each child with the opportunity to fill his or her summer days with diverse experiences and activities. Creative play, arts & crafts, academic review, sports, picnics, and bike days, will provide all students with a memorable summer.

Early Preschool

Preschool

Transitional Kindergarten

Junior Kindergarten provides a step between preschool and Kindergarten. Your child will experience an academic schedule which fully prepares them for the challenges of Kindergarten. Our program offers a small, safe environment with skilled and experienced teachers. This is a full day program with optional extended care that supports the academic program. Enrichment activities include dance, technology, music, foreign language, physical education and more.

TK & Kindergarten Enrichment

The Catalyst Kids Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten program provides a supportive, enriching environment for children as they embark on their early school journey. Designed as a seamless extension of the school day, our curriculum fosters discovery, creativity, and critical thinking through hands-on activities and structured enrichment. Before & After Care

The Catalyst Kids Before & After School program provides a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can extend their learning, build friendships, and explore new interests. Located on elementary school campuses, our programs foster positive relationships and support children’s academic and social development. With structured activities and ample opportunities for self-directed exploration, students receive homework assistance, participate in creative projects, and engage in hands-on learning beyond the classroom. Each center is uniquely designed to meet the needs of the children, families, and school communities it serves. Our daily schedule includes a community-building meeting, academic enrichment, nutritious meals served family-style, and 30 Fit, ensuring at least 30 minutes of physical activity for a healthy lifestyle. Children explore their interests through long-term clubs, enjoy open recreation, and participate in both indoor and outdoor play spaces tailored to different age groups. Our dedicated staff, trained in child development, CPR, and first aid, create a nurturing atmosphere where kids feel supported and empowered. In this class we brighten up the world by helping our youngest children discover their senses, explore their surroundings, nurture their development and celebrate their milestones. From one-on-one interactions that help build nurturing relationships in everyday moments to age-appropriate books to support speech and language development, our classrooms provide the ideal setting for the youngest children. We are also encouraging children to work on finger painting, music, and pretend play to spark creativity while also exposing them to structures to help with perceptual motor development. When children leave this classroom they will have a Brighter Beginning to the world around them.

We use a scaffolded approach to learning through systematically building on students’ experiences and knowledge as they are acquiring new skills in order to enhance learning and aid in the mastery of tasks. Their curious minds are exposed to an enriched curriculum focusing on language development by using pictures, books and basic academics in their environment. Following simple instructions is implemented through circle time, story time, art, and curriculum projects. Besides the social, emotional development, we also focus on developing fine motor skills through fun and sensory activities. Our Little Explorers are ready to put to practice their newfound independence by exploring their surroundings as they come with a Brighter understanding of their world around them.

Pre-Kindergarten

The Stratford pre-kindergarten curriculum teaches students to ask questions and think critically. Pre-K students begin their day with imaginative STEAM play, designed to develop their natural curiosity and problem-solving skills. They enjoy Spanish class several times a week, and progress at a faster rate than other pre-K students because of Stratford’s focus on English language fundamentals. The classroom has special furniture and safety measures to cater to your child’s size and building body awareness. Our 1:3 teacher-to-child ratio provides each child valuable learning interactions and support as they experience great developmental accomplishments. The Toddler Program focuses on assisting little ones with accomplishing age appropriate milestones that enhance their independence. Many of the activities revolve around developing their fine motor and sensory skills such as working with Play-Doh, shaving cream, and paint. The outdoor playground has age-appropriate materials. They absolutely love having fun out in the open air and strengthening their gross motor skills.
