very amazing daycare, it was a total blessing for me to find them 2 years ago. The staff are so nice and patient to the kids, and very understanding with parents. we are not Russian but my son learns Russian there too. Thus, he actually understands 3 different languages right now. the meal is perfect for kids and delicious, even the picky kid would eat it. their daily routine including learning classes, play times, music session, nap time are all organized. I 100% recommend sunflower to anyone who wants to be sure of their child emotional and physical well being and of course happiness!

Our daughter Jasmine went to Sunflower from early fall 2024 to June 2026, so almost two years, and honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We always knew we loved it there, but I don’t think I fully understood HOW lucky we were until we moved and I had to start looking for another preschool. That’s when it really hit me. So many things I thought were just standard for a preschool.. are actually not standard at all. I always felt very calm leaving my daughter there. I knew she was cared for, I knew the teachers Alina, Luda, Natalia and Ella knew her really well, and I never had that feeling that she was just one of many kids in some big childcare business. It always felt very personal and warm. The teachers were amazing. You could really tell they cared about the kids emotionally too, not just doing their job. They knew my daughter, her personality, what she liked, how she was feeling that day. It felt like they were actually invested in her, and that means so much as a parent. I also really loved the program. They had academics, music classes with a real music teacher, live piano, songs they learned every week, different activities all the time. Again, I thought this was kind of standard until I started touring other schools. It’s really not. They also sent photos and videos during the day, which I miss a lot now. I always knew what my daughter was doing and how her day was going. Another huge thing for me was the food. They cooked on site, actual homemade food. After we moved, I was shocked how many preschools use catering, don’t serve breakfast, sometimes don’t even include lunch, or make you pay extra for it. And somehow the tuition is still much higher. But probably the biggest thing is just the atmosphere. Sunflower felt like a place where people really knew and loved your child. I was genuinely so sad when we had to leave. I literally cried because it felt like the end of such a special chapter for us💔 And I keep coming back to the same thing - you really understand the value of something when you have something to compare it to. I thought a lot of what Sunflower offered was just “the basics.” Turns out it absolutely isn’t. We were so, so lucky to have found this place, and I’ll always be grateful my daughter got to spend almost two years there. Thank you Natalia 🫶

My daughter is currently in this preschool and we couldn’t be happier. She brings home crafts, she’s excited to tell me what they did that day, and I always know she’s been well taken care of and had healthy meals. The most important part of this school is the teachers — how warm, loving, and energetic they are. There’s also extra curriculum you can choose, like art classes, theater, and English. My daughter is getting a good education, but it doesn’t get in the way of her just being a kid and enjoying lots of creative activities and outdoor play.

Our daughter attended the Preschool program at Sunflower, and we could not have asked for a better start for her. She was excited to go every single morning and came home full of stories about crafts, music, and playing outside with her friends. The teachers are warm, patient, and professional, and the bilingual Russian/English environment was a big plus for our family. A special mention goes to the food: everything is home-cooked, fresh, and healthy, which is hard to find in a daycare and made a real difference for us as parents. Natalia, the director and owner, knows every child and every family personally, is always easy to reach, and runs the center with genuine care and attention to detail. Most importantly, we watched our daughter become more confident, curious, and independent, and she started kindergarten well prepared. We happily recommend Sunflower to other families.

Sunflower is the absolute best daycare we’ve found in the Bay Area (and we’ve had our share of different experiences). I almost gave up on the idea that my kid might enjoy his time in daycare but ever since we’ve gone here, it’s a brand new world. My kid loves the teachers, the activities, and everything in between. I love that he’s well cared for, well fed and happy when I come for pickup. This place has a very genuine, loving, and professional ambiance with a very family feel to it. So I’d absolutely recommend to any family!

Our son has had a wonderful experience at Sunflower CDC. He adjusted very quickly and genuinely enjoys going there every day. He loves his teachers, the engaging activities, and the meals. The entire staff is caring, kind, and attentive. We are especially grateful to the director for creating such a warm and welcoming environment for the children and their families. My son was here for about 6 months from 4,5 to 5 years old. Our son was absolutely happy being there. We had amazing experience bring our child here. Sunflower owner is very responsive and friendly and always was happy to help child being engaged in group activities , feel comfortable, safe, help parents being engaged in child’s activity in special days such as mother’s or father’s days. In addition, the place has professionals (teachers ) that teach general and additional classes for kids, math , English, painting, that are also were helpful and supportive and high quality ( math class can be compared to to first grade of very good public school) . I am as a parent recommend the place.

When our 3 yo started attending Sunflower and I saw the pics from the daily activity, I told myself: ok, it is probably some special event; it's too much of crafts and live music and outdoor play to be just a regular day; they must be having some inspection and need to impress their visitors! Only that it looked just the same next day, and day after it, and so on. It has been over a year now that our, today, 4 yo is attending Sunflower, and nothing changed. It's just beyond everything I would have imagined for a daycare I'd like my son to attend. Sunflower kids are being nurtured like flowers day in, day out, and thanks to this truly magical environment, with abundant light of love and care, our son is blooming like a beautiful flower. A sunflower :-)

We have such warm memories of Sunflower! Our daughter really loved going there and still remembers this preschool with a smile. The teachers were very caring and kind. We always felt that our daughter was in a safe and loving environment. We also really liked the activities they had for the kids. There were fun classes, arts and crafts, games, celebrations, and different events. They also had field trips, which the kids really enjoyed.
