Tutoring & Mentoring Programs

Some subjects don’t come easily and can become a barrier to moving forward — academically and emotionally. That’s why we offer tutoring across all required subject areas and for many electives as well. At Fusion, our teachers are our tutors. They are trained in personalized, one-to-one education and are subject matter experts. In the one-to-one setting, they also act as mentors to their students. NOTE: This tuition rate includes 5 tutoring sessions.

Before & After School

Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Wondercamp

An action-packed summer for children (ages 2 to 12). Our exciting Wonder Weeks include topics and activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination. We serve healthy food, play outside daily, and take field trips too! Parents will love our app with live streaming video and photo highlights.

Before & After School Care

Our after school program is designed to nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® in children ages 5 through 12. Your child can relax, make friends, get homework help and continue to learn while having fun as they explore creative expression, sports, technology, drama, music, games and more.

We offer a variety of summer camps for every child! Whether it’s day camp, a sports camp, a specialty camp, or an academic camp, your child will gain confidence, make new friends, and have lots of fun.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Private Kindergarten

As the culmination of our School Readiness Pathway, our Private Kindergarten program offers your child a small class size and big opportunities. The curriculum features award-winning national programs in literacy, math, and handwriting. Physical education, fine arts, social studies, and science and nature are also explored, while we work closely with your child to meet important social-emotional development objectives. Need an extra hand with your kindergarten child? We’re here. In the morning, we’re here for you to drop off your child at your convenience, and we provide transportation to their elementary school for their half-day kindergarten program. Then, we’ll pick them up and bring them back to spend the afternoon with us. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. Before & After Care

Finding convenient and enriching before or after school care for elementary aged children can be challenging. Our school-age program takes advantage of older children’s growing independence and abilities by providing activities that are fun, challenging and engaging. We provide reliable transportation to and from many area elementary schools, nutritious meals and snacks that help children form healthy eating habits, and dedicated staff members with experience in working with older children.

Summer Camp

Embrace the Adventure! Summer at The Rhoades School promises an unforgettable adventure filled with activities to match every interest. From thrilling sports and games to STEM projects, arts and crafts, music, dance, and drama - there's something for every camper!

Reading Program (3-5)

The Kumon Reading Program starts your pre-readers off with fun “look, listen and repeat” worksheets. Colorful illustrations help connect words to familiar objects, to start putting words together. Your child will progress to identify nouns, verbs and adjectives, and use them within sentences.

Reading Program (13+)

A strong reader excels not only in a range of academic subjects, but also in everyday life. As your child studies complex texts in literature, you'll soon see advances in reading, a better understanding of content, the ability to form and support well-thought-out opinions, and more.

Toddler Program

In our toddler program, growing independence is recognized as the children are helped to make individual work choices, offered purposeful and developmentally appropriate activities, and the toddler’s desire to “do it myself” is respected and encouraged.

Primary Program

The Primary program is designed for children as young as 3 years through kindergarten (age 6). The primary curriculum is broken down into several major areas and we also offer an optional Spanish Bilingual program.
