School Age

Voyagers (5 years old to 12 years old): The Voyagers Classroom is designed to meet the unique needs of school-aged children. Most activities are child-led, which means students focus on their interests and move easily between activities. The children in this classroom get a balance of flexibility and structure—they have the time and space for schoolwork and fun with games, activities, and outside time. School-age children in the Voyagers Classroom will do homework in a quiet area and be provided with help as needed, enjoy learning stations for STEM, sensory explorations, and building challenges, and join in organized outdoor activities (kickball, soccer, tag-related games) plus reading and arts and crafts. Montessori Program

The Montessori method is based upon the observations and discoveries of the first female Italian physician, Dr. Maria Montessori. Her philosophy nurtures the joy of learning in children at an early age, providing a framework in which intellectual and social disciplines coexist. She believed that education is a lifelong process, and it should be an aid to life. Her philosophy was that children learn at their own pace and develop according to their own timetable. Their physical, emotional, psychic, and intellectual abilities are interrelated. Children must have freedom, within clearly defined limits, to develop their full potential. Based on this philosophy, Creative Playrooms Montessori Program provides children with a prepared learning environment that helps them think, organize, and observe. The teacher functions as a guide, aiding children in their choice of developmentally appropriate learning materials. Summer Adventure Club

Make this the summer of “I did it!” At Summer Adventure Club, your child will explore, play and grow as an athlete, artist, engineer and more through hands-on activities that nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

School Age

Pelicans: Our School Age program provides children with opportunities for exploration, creativity, and fun challenges to support them in becoming their best selves. Our program consists of a mix of guided activities planned by the children and teacher-guided activities. We Offer Before & After-School Care for Lewis Elementary, Parkside Elementary, Roxbury Elementary, Solon City District Elementary Schools, and Orchard Middle School.

Summer Camp

Open to children ages 5 – 12 years old (must have completed kindergarten). Summer is one of the things children look forward to the most. School’s out, and children are ready to get back to their much-awaited playtime. But instead of letting your child become glued to TV screens, computers, or mobile devices watching cartoons or playing video games, this is the perfect time to encourage them to engage in activities that offer the right balance between learning and fun. This is where summer camp comes in! Our carefully crafted camp program is designed to inspire elementary-aged children through a variety of fun and educational activities. Our camps offer unique activities led by experienced counselors that are centered around life lessons, exploration, and fun.

Reading Program (13+)

A strong reader excels not only in a range of academic subjects, but also in everyday life. As your child studies complex texts in literature, you'll soon see advances in reading, a better understanding of content, the ability to form and support well-thought-out opinions, and more.

Math Program (3-5)

The Kumon Math Program will start developing your child’s very first math skills, including counting, writing numbers, mental calculations and even addition and subtraction.

School-Age Childcare Program
