In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. Before & After Care

Stratford offers Extended Day programs to give parents the added convenience to meet their busy schedule. Dedicated and specially trained staff, experienced in working with students, oversees homework and facilitates creative and fun activities. Available as early as 7:00 a.m. before the school day begins and after the school day ends until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, Extended Day provides students with structured time for finishing school work and ample time to socialize, read, play games, and enjoy team challenges or independent activities.

Kindergarten

In Stratford’s kindergarten program, students tackle math, grammar, phonics, and reading in the morning, while afternoon sessions feature music, writing, Spanish, and science several times each week. Kindergarten students learn to explore subjects more deeply – allowing for greater understanding, more critical thinking, and analysis. Kindergarteners begin formal recitation to develop public speaking skills, and teachers use poetry, music, and reading aloud to promote students’ self-assurance in front of a group.
