Part Time Preschool Program

Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

Preschool Classroom

In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. At The Goddard School®, we recognize that classrooms are made up of many unique children and teachers work to create engaging, innovative, play-based lessons with the interests and needs of every child in mind. Intermediates

Our Intermediates program for 3-year-olds encourages hands-on exploration through learning centers focused on early literacy, math, and science. Our Links to Learning curriculum also helps children develop independence, practice social-emotional skills like sharing, taking turns, and understanding emotions, and build strong friendships. We also foster appreciation for diversity to create an inclusive, caring community.

Pre-K

Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten and beyond by fostering classroom readiness skills, nurturing social-emotional growth through our character education program, and strengthening literacy and math skills. With our Links to Learning curriculum, your child will begin to express ideas through writing, solve math equations, develop an understanding and appreciation for diversity, and work together to create a strong classroom community. For children who miss the kindergarten cut-off, we offer additional academic rigor.

Early Preschool

Our Early Preschool teachers partner with you to help your child learn important independent life skills like potty training and hand washing while paying close attention to all aspects of your child’s development.

Preschool Pathways

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance.

Preschool

Ninety percent of a child’s brain is developed by age five! That’s why preschool—with critically important cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional stimulation—impacts a child’s development long-term. Preschool helps produce higher high school graduation rates, reduced instances of crime or teen pregnancy, greater socialization and earning potential throughout their lives. Preschool-age children in the Explorers Classroom understand the idea of rules and they’re learning to play with their peers. Our Explorers Classroom curriculum help children delve into different topics through age-appropriate and engaging activities and helps build the foundation for Kindergarten readiness. Prices are subject to change. Preschoolers in the Explorers Classroom will experience hands-on learning daily through a wide range of activities and develop fine motor skills that will help with writing and practice gross motor skills outdoors to gain better control over larger muscles.

Part Time Preschool Program

Preschool Program

Hands-on preschool program with a strong focus on school readiness. Children are encouraged to think independently and express their individuality. Your child’s day is filled with creating, experimenting, and imaginary play. Curriculum includes: math, science, language, and spanish. Children begin to expand social skills and build friendships.

Prekindergarten Program

Final year of preschool designed to prepare children for kindergarten. Program puts a strong emphasis on literacy and language arts. Daily routine includes: reading, writing, math, science, Spanish instruction, movement, art, and music. Teachers model respect and kindness, and children learn how to resolve conflicts and build friendships. Children also learn to express themselves through writing and telling complete stories.

Preschool Program

Hands-on preschool program with a strong focus on school readiness. Children are encouraged to think independently and express their individuality. Your child’s day is filled with creating, experimenting, and imaginary play. Curriculum includes: math, science, language, and spanish. Children begin to expand social skills and build friendships.

Discovery Preschool

Preschool program designed to create a strong academic and social foundation. Teachers introduce math, literacy, and science. Activities also include music, movement, art, pretend play, and group games. Children become an active part of their classroom community.
