Before School Care Program

We provide age-appropriate toys and group snack times, but we focus on intent—encouraging them to explore their own interests rather than just staying busy. Whether they’re joining the group or requesting one-on-one time for a craft, they are always supported and seen.

Before & After School Care (Part Time)

Our after school program is designed to nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® in children ages 5 through 12. Your child can relax, make friends, get homework help and continue to learn while having fun as they explore creative expression, sports, technology, drama, music, games and more. Tuition includes full day early education and care with daily educational experiences, personalized instruction, family-teacher partnerships, real-time communications and photos, purposeful outdoor play, and nutritious meals and snacks.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Before School Care Program

Tutoring & Mentoring Programs

Some subjects don’t come easily and can become a barrier to moving forward — academically and emotionally. That’s why we offer tutoring across all required subject areas and for many electives as well. At Fusion, our teachers are our tutors. They are trained in personalized, one-to-one education and are subject matter experts. In the one-to-one setting, they also act as mentors to their students. NOTE: This tuition rate includes 5 tutoring sessions.

Summer Camp

The Learning Experience Summer of Happiness in Gurnee offers fun for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years with STEAM activities, water play, outdoor games, and engaging experiences in a safe, nurturing environment.
