Toddler Preschool

Ivybrook Academy’s Toddler Preschool program is designed for the youngest citizens of our school community. This half-day program provides the perfect combination of play, learning opportunities, and flexibility, and we specialize in channeling their desire for exploration into activities that help them learn and grow. 2-Year-Olds

At Ivybrook Academy, we understand that the age of two is a time of wonder and rapid growth. Our half-day program is thoughtfully designed to nurture your child’s natural curiosity, support their developmental milestones, and foster a love for learning. Infants

Our infant curriculum starts with regular playtime including belly and music time, exploration, stimulation, as well as nap and feeding times that we keep consistent with your baby’s individual schedule.

Twaddlers

Our curriculum helps twaddlers explore, and it nurtures their increasing need to communicate. By this point in their early childhood development, twaddlers have expanded their language skills, and our curriculum helps to enhance their ability to communicate verbally.

Infants

Two's

At Big Blue Marble Academy, we create an environment that nurtures and embraces the high-energy attitudes of two-year-olds by giving them plenty of room to explore. Our curriculum for this age group incorporates music and movement to introduce children to new skills in fun and memorable ways, build their confidence, and help strengthen their love of learning. A typical day can include songs, story time, music, and movement during “Circle Time” and “Free Choice,” which gives children the opportunity to make choices about what activity they would like to participate in based on their own interests. Our childhood program focuses on providing enriching learning experiences for young children in our child care center. Our childhood education classes are designed to support their brain development, promote literacy skills, and introduce new math concepts.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. We maintain a 1:5 caregiver to infant ratio at all times to ensure the best care possible. The focus of our infant program is to provide care, love, compassion, and attention to each infant and we do this by always having plenty of experienced and passionate caregivers on staff.

Toddler

Designed for children ages 12 months to 24 months of age, the toddler program focuses on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for each child. With a low teacher to child ratio, we ensure that each child gets individualized attention and instruction throughout the day.
