Our after school program is designed to nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® in children ages 5 through 12. Kindergarten

Lightbridge Academy understands your desire to have your child well-prepared for first grade. Our strong academic program, coupled with nurturing care, is a successful combination for your kindergartner. Entering first grade, your Lightbridge Academy graduate will have a considerable advantage over other students. Our teachers follow a detailed curriculum that exceeds state educational requirements, bringing together the fundamentals of education into theme-based lessons that impact the whole child. While educating your child, we reinforce important life skills such as communication, kindness, respect, honesty and sharing. Through the Lightbridge Foundation, children also learn the importance of helping others in need.

Back-Up Care

With Lightbridge Academy’s back-up care, parents can reserve a day here and there — or even up to weeks at a time — at your local center. Back-up child care is available at all Lightbridge Academy locations on a space-available basis for infants through school-aged children.

In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Wondercamp

An action-packed summer for children (ages 2 to 12). Our exciting Wonder Weeks include topics and activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination. We serve healthy food, play outside daily, and take field trips too! Parents will love our app with live streaming video and photo highlights.

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program gives children the foundation they need for success in elementary school and beyond. Our curriculum fosters children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth through hands-on learning experiences. Students build strong language, literacy, and math skills, as well as important social-emotional skills such as communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

Before & After Care

Learning and fun continue beyond the school day. Our school-age program, for children ages 5–12, is designed to match children's growing independence and expanding abilities. Students enjoy sports, games, and arts and crafts while forming friendships and working together. A quiet space for homework helps build focus and responsibility, while giving families peace of mind as they balance work and child care.

Private Kindergarten

As the culmination of our School Readiness Pathway, our Private Kindergarten program offers your child a small class size and big opportunities. The curriculum features award-winning national programs in literacy, math, and handwriting. Physical education, fine arts, social studies, and science and nature are also explored, while we work closely with your child to meet important social-emotional development objectives. Infants

In our Infant program, we focus on keeping each baby happy, comfortable, and eager to explore their classroom. Teachers use positive interactions to support each baby’s mental, physical, and social development in a safe, nurturing environment. We follow babies’ cues and provide individualized schedules. Our Baby Sign Language program helps teachers connect with infants, building trust and supporting early language skills. Families stay connected with daily updates and photos through our Links 2 Home app.

Toddlers

We understand toddlers are curious, busy, and full of personality. Our Toddler program channels that energy into meaningful learning. Through our Links to Learning curriculum, children explore colors, sizes, early science, and vocabulary while building social-emotional skills and confidence through play and gentle routines. Toddlers begin to participate in a consistent daily schedule, giving them a sense of structure and security. Teachers foster curiosity and independence by encouraging exploration, offering choices, and celebrating successes.
