Infants

In our Infant program, our teachers are always interacting with the children to encourage their mental and physical development, in addition to holding and cuddling them. Your child will be introduced to our baby sign language program, learn to grasp toys, vocalize sounds, recognize pictures of familiar objects, and acquire a variety of other skills. Teachers work with each child in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of feeding and play. The teacher reinforces the infants’ development without disrupting their daily schedule.

Our Toddler program provides opportunities for children to physically explore their world inside the classroom and on the playground. They also begin more structured activities, such as learning centers and circle time. Your toddler will begin learning concepts of color and size, build their vocabulary, and explore foundational scientific concepts. Lightbridge Academy’s infant program is an ideal, developmentally appropriate environment for little ones as they learn to move, pull up, roll over, and eventually crawl. Our infant curriculum creates a solid foundation for your little one’s future growth and development. By creating strong bonds, learning through play and stimulating their five senses, even our youngest students are encouraged to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. Primary caregivers introduce a theme-based curriculum, which is enhanced with enrichment programs such as Singing Sprouts, Spanish Sprouts and Signing Sprouts.
