Lightbridge Academy understands your desire to have your child well-prepared for first grade. Our strong academic program, coupled with nurturing care, is a successful combination for your kindergartner. Entering first grade, your Lightbridge Academy graduate will have a considerable advantage over other students. Our teachers follow a detailed curriculum that exceeds state educational requirements, bringing together the fundamentals of education into theme-based lessons that impact the whole child. While educating your child, we reinforce important life skills such as communication, kindness, respect, honesty and sharing. Kindergarteners

Before & After School

Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Drop-In Care

We all have our own unique schedules and demands on our time. At The Children’s Courtyard, we recognize that scheduling needs may vary by family—or even by the day. That’s why we offer Drop-In Care: Purchase child care days ahead of time, then use them as needed. Prepaid Flex Care cards are sold in five-day increments and are good for a full year. Once you’ve completed your enrollment paperwork, we just need 48 hours’ notice to reserve a spot for your child.

Before & After Care

Finding convenient and enriching before or after school care for elementary aged children can be challenging. Our school-age program takes advantage of older children’s growing independence and abilities by providing activities that are fun, challenging and engaging. We provide reliable transportation to and from many area elementary schools, nutritious meals and snacks that help children form healthy eating habits, and dedicated staff members with experience in working with older children.

Summer Camp

We offer a variety of summer camps for every child! Whether it’s day camp, a sports camp, a specialty camp, or an academic camp, your child will gain confidence, make new friends, and have lots of fun.
