Penguins: The early preschool years are nothing short of amazing! Children at this age have an overwhelming eagerness to learn and you will notice that their ability to experiment, explore, and focus on set activities begins to change rapidly. Our Penguin program supports young preschoolers and their need to be challenged, engaged, and encouraged in their learning and personal interests. All of this is done with the belief that children learn best through play! The success of our preschool classrooms truly lies in the environment and materials that have been carefully selected to provide our preschool children with a high-quality learning experience. The individual learning environments in these classrooms invite children in to explore, create, wonder, and question the world around them and is where you can expect to see the elements of our Nest Play curriculum and many other activities come to life. Our Penguins curriculum includes the Global Gull Spanish Language Program. 10-12 minutes are set aside each day to introduce and practice new Spanish vocabulary. Words are selected that relate together in a common theme. Manipulatives and realistic images are used alongside learning new words. New Spanish vocabulary is incorporated into the children’s learning experiences and opportunities. A few examples of Spanish words we will learn together: Todo Hecho (All Done), Jugar (Play), and Sí (Yes).

Our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, celebrates your baby’s natural curiosity within the classroom environment and models how to explore safely. Toddler Classroom

As toddlers are rapidly developing both physically and cognitively, the Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered, and their language and communication skills are nurtured. A lifelong love of learning starts early, and we believe in providing brand-new learners with the tools they need to be successful. In the Toddler classroom, our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, comes to life as expert teachers harness children’s natural curiosity, guiding them to explore the world around them through hands-on learning, play and asking questions. Teachers support your child's social-emotional growth while helping them develop important physical skills. Your little one will build social awareness, form meaningful connections with others and have plenty of opportunities to strengthen essential skills like persistence and independence.

Our goal is designed to duplicate the loving care and nurturing that an infant needs to grow and develop to his or her full potential. Flexible scheduling allows each child to eat, sleep or play according to his or her own natural timetable. Our rooms are equipped with age appropriate materials that provide freedom of movement and gentle stimulation. Babies have their own crib and the attention of the same staff members daily with a low child to staff ratio. Parents receive a written or electronic report daily including all meals, diaper changes, and sleep schedules. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*

The daily schedule is intentionally unobtrusive and provides plenty of opportunities for learning, cuddling, napping or socializing indoors and outdoors.
