Infant Classroom

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need, as well as opportunities to begin learning about the world around them. Our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, celebrates your baby’s natural curiosity within the classroom environment and models how to explore safely. Toddler Classroom

As toddlers are rapidly developing both physically and cognitively, the Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered, and their language and communication skills are nurtured. A lifelong love of learning starts early, and we believe in providing brand-new learners with the tools they need to be successful. In the Toddler classroom, our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, comes to life as expert teachers harness children’s natural curiosity, guiding them to explore the world around them through hands-on learning, play and asking questions. Teachers support your child's social-emotional growth while helping them develop important physical skills. Infants

Toddlers

This is an age of discovery and wonder. Toddlers are becoming more aware of what is happening around them, often imitating others and learning what interests them. What’s more, as they begin to develop new skills, they begin to build greater confidence in their abilities. In addition to personal care, our toddler teachers focus on approaches to play and learning, cognitive development, communication and language development, physical development, and social & emotional development.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Babies are provided with personal space for rest and individual attention and play spaces with attractive manipulatives that promote fine motor development. Our infants are offered a variety of experiences to meet their rapidly changing social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs. Our highly trained staff use our research based curriculum to create educational experiences that promote emerging skills while building a bond of trust through love and attention. The curriculum wraps stimulating activities within the routines of the day, giving your little one a firm foundation for learning.

Two's

Independent, and energetic! In their quest for independence, two year olds move, explore, challenge, test, and conquer! This classroom curriculum environment is staged for the transition between toddler and preschool, with learning centers that encourage exploration, climbers that stimulate development of large motor skills, and materials that engage children in hands on exploration. Our teachers continue to promote independence, and self-help skills such as learning to use the restroom, re-dress themselves, and wash their hands independently.

Infants

We are a small classroom with 12 infants and 3 teachers. We have a flexible schedule for the children, which is outlined below. We will happily coordinate our feeding times to your schedule if you would like to visit the classroom to breastfeed. We have several places within the school where you are welcome to feed your child. Parents may choose to use cloth diapers, and if you choose these diapers we will gladly accommodate you. Please know that the flow of communication is always open and it is important to the Infant class teachers that we are accessible to our families.

Pre-Primary

In this class, your child will learn the beginnings of Montessori lessons and work cycles, which include basic motor coordination, independence, and language development. Rather than a classroom, this is a nurturing social community where young children experience and learn to participate in a cooperative group. During their time in this class, we will gauge their interest and introduce the concept of using the potty, and help them develop other skills of independence that will prepare them to eventually transition to the older, Primary.
