CAMP MATT

Camp MATT at the Mattatuck Museum returns with 6 exciting weeks of art, history, and hands-on creativity! Kids will explore galleries, experiment with unique materials, and build new skills each week. Camp runs 9:30–3:30 with FREE before & after care available.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Before and After School Care

BrightPath's School-Age Program is guided by five pillars of character: Respect, Trustworthiness, Honesty, Caring, and Self-Expression. The program provides a mix of instructional and self-guided activities in a non-competitive atmosphere - outdoor sports, cooking projects, science activities, board games, comfortable reading spaces, and time for children to socialize and explore their interests. Our before & after school program is offered for children ages 5-12 on regular school days. We also offer full-day programs for all out of school days and camps during school breaks, including Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Camp.

Kindergarteners

We provide programs to ensure readiness for first grade. This includes reading for kindergarten, and a continued learning of technology and art. Our kindergarten classes combine our L.E.A.P early education curriculum with an environment of fun, open-ended exploration, investigation, discovery, and building self-confidence and self-esteem.
