Junior Kindergarten

Our Junior Kindergarten program is for children not quite old enough for kindergarten or who may need additional skill development. This is the path for young 5-year-olds. We explore the structure and format of a day in kindergarten, with developmentally appropriate kindergarten curriculum. This program helps develop the critical skills your child needs for elementary school, such as: following multi-step instructions, organizing work, controlling impulses, sustaining attention, and finding multiple ways to solve problems. Preschool

Head Start is a free classroom program for 3- and 4-year-olds from low-income families in Saratoga County. Our classrooms are state-licensed daycare centers. Our teachers have New York State certification. When a child is ready to start school, they have a better chance of succeeding. That means a better chance of graduating high school and a better chance of going to college or trade school. So, Head Start kids grow up to be anything they want to be! Head Start helps kids build social skills, healthy emotions, speaking and reading skills, math and science knowledge, a relationship with their family’s culture and language, and a smooth transition to kindergarten.
