School Age

Pelicans: Our School Age program provides children with opportunities for exploration, creativity, and fun challenges to support them in becoming their best selves. Our program consists of a mix of guided activities planned by the children and teacher-guided activities. We offer Before & After-School Care for Holly Springs Elementary.

Summer Camp

Open to children ages 5 – 12 years old (must have completed kindergarten). Summer is one of the things children look forward to the most. School’s out, and children are ready to get back to their much-awaited playtime. But instead of letting your child become glued to TV screens, computers, or mobile devices watching cartoons or playing video games, this is the perfect time to encourage them to engage in activities that offer the right balance between learning and fun. This is where summer camp comes in! Our carefully crafted camp program is designed to inspire elementary-aged children through a variety of fun and educational activities. Our camps offer unique activities led by experienced counselors that are centered around life lessons, exploration, and fun.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Before and After School Care

We offer before- and after-school care at most of our child care centers. As a part of our before-school program, children may be dropped off in the morning and most locations provide breakfast before transporting or transitioning them to school or one of our onsite school-age or state Pre-K programs. Our after-school programs also offer homework support, learning opportunities, and social skills development for children. We offer various activities across age ranges from structured exploration of different cultures and destinations, to supervised play and games, to more independent play and homework support for the older students. Our after-school program provides homework support and fosters character development through group activities and additional playtime.

Our camps take global learning to a deeper level through hands-on, multi-sensory experiences, field trips (where available), interactive interest-based clubs, and world language learning. Big Blue Marble Academy’s summer camp offers fun and learning. Campers love everything that BBMA has to offer, including lasting memories and making new friends. Big Blue Marble Summer Camp is open to school age children (ages 5-12). We also incorporate our summer theme into our preschool classes (children ages 3-4) with on-site activities.

After School Care

We understand the challenges of balancing work and family life, which is why we offer a comprehensive After School Program designed to support families and provide enriching experiences for school-aged children. LPC offers care for Elementary school age children through 5th grade.

Summer Camp

Our summer program is full of fun and excitement and will create fabulous memories for your child for many years to come. Summer camp is for children ages five through eleven years old. Children are divided into two age groups. The “YOUNGERS” age group consists of children who have completed the four year old Pre-K and for those who have completed kindergarten/1st grade. The “OLDERS” age group consists of children who have completed first/second grade through age eleven or 5th grade. The division of the classes depends on the number of children and how the division of ages can best suit the children attending each summer. Summer campers will enjoy spending days with other children their age. Throughout the summer they will have fun and develop lasting friendships. Summer days are full of fun at LPC! Your child will enjoy numerous activities throughout the summer. Activities are based on a monthly theme and are always fun. Onsite adventures and activities include games, art, crafts, cooking, scavenger hunts, water days, waterslides and many other outdoor activities.

Kindergarteners

We provide programs to ensure readiness for first grade. This includes reading for kindergarten, and a continued learning of technology and art. Our kindergarten classes combine our L.E.A.P early education curriculum with an environment of fun, open-ended exploration, investigation, discovery, and building self-confidence and self-esteem. It’s the perfect opportunity for optimum growth in academics, socialization, physical fitness, and emotional well-being.
