Families love our nurturing infant program, where babies receive personalized care, plenty of cuddles, tummy time, sensory play, music, and age-appropriate activities in a safe, loving home environment.

Toddlers

Our toddler program encourages learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities. Children build language, social, motor, and early learning skills through daily lessons, music, art, outdoor play, and a consistent routine in a safe, nurturing environment.

PK-4

**For PK4, students must be no younger than four years old on September 30 for the enrolled school year.** Every Child Ready (ECR) is AppleTree’s evidence-based, award-winning early-learning instructional model that drives what to teach, how to teach, and how to tell children are learning. Every Child Ready is a balanced early learning program created to prepare three-and-four-year-old children for kindergarten and beyond. The Every Child Ready program supports children’s development across social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and academic areas. Children learn through exploration and purposeful play. Teachers receive the professional development and tools they need to meet each child where they are. Families are active partners in their child’s education.

Before & After Care

Program hours are from 7:00am - 8:00am (before care) and 3:15pm - 6:00pm (after care). The before care and extended day team is led by AppleTree teaching assistants. Fee is based on the family's status with the NSLP (National School Lunch Program). Our school partners have different extended day programs. Please check with the school manager for more details.

WeeWorld Infant

Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am–6 pm, year round program. Separate nap/play areas, English-Spanish immersion, Sign Language, individualized care, sensory & bonding activities, nutritious meals, year-round program, parent support, loving staff, daily updates, & dedicated infant play space.

WeeWorld Toddler

Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am–6 pm, year round program. Safe, hands-on learning space with early academics, confidence building, English-Spanish immersion, potty support, nutritious meals, parent resources, daily updates, and nurturing toddler experiences.

DC Prep Benning Elementary (PK3-3rd)

Students master foundational reading and math skills while developing the independence, curiosity, and focus to thrive in a college-prep environment.

DC Prep Benning Elementary (PK3-3rd)

Pre-Kindergarten program for 3s and 4s where children develop the social, emotional, and cognitive competencies that lead to a love of school and learning. The school day includes morning community meeting, guided literacy and numeracy, and centers including dramatic play and sensory exploration.

Before and After Care Program

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Infants

Give your precious baby the best start possible at Celebree School®. Led by a team of loving and dedicated educators, our infant care program features care a tranquil setting in which your infant will be held, rocked, and cuddled during feedings and before naptime.

Toddlers

Our toddler program focuses on encouraging our children to explore the world around them. Our teachers work to help our children increase strength, mobility, and language skills, while also helping them learn self-help skills such as feeding themselves. Toddlers in our programs begin to learn social skills, such as sharing, through activities such as circle time and sensory games.

Discovery Family Childcare

Discovery Family Childcare has been based in Fort Washington, MD for 28 years. We offer a Montessori style curriculum as well as breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.

Drop-In Care Program

Daycare Program

Nurturing infant care in a small, bilingual environment with individualized routines, developmental play, tummy time, sensory activities, outdoor time, and loving attention from experienced caregivers.
