Our school was purposely designed and our classrooms thoughtfully curated with materials and learning centers that meet the needs of children 5 and under. Plus, before- and after-care is education-based, offering more essential skill development. We’re only closed for 9 holidays per year. Join us during school breaks and all summer. VPK (Voluntary Pre-K)

VCA participates in the Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) program, a free program that is funded by the State of Florida for children four years old by September 1st. Our VPK curriculum prepares children for Kindergarten and life-long learning by fostering the social-emotional, intellectual, and physical development of children with concrete skills gained through experiences with music, art, storytelling, hands-on activities, and teacher-directed lessons. We focus on mastering fine and gross motor skills, understanding key concepts like “more and less,” “beside and between,” reading, writing, letters, numbers, sign language, Spanish as a foreign language, and more! A high percentage of our VPK graduates boast an elementary school reading level by Kindergarten.

Final year of preschool designed to prepare children for kindergarten. Program puts a strong emphasis on literacy and language arts. In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.
