Children at this age have an overwhelming eagerness to learn and you will notice that their ability to experiment, explore, and focus on set activities begins to change rapidly. Our Penguin program supports young preschoolers and their need to be challenged, engaged, and encouraged in their learning and personal interests. All of this is done with the belief that children learn best through play! The success of our preschool classrooms truly lies in the environment and materials that have been carefully selected to provide our preschool children with a high-quality learning experience. The individual learning environments in these classrooms invite children in to explore, create, wonder, and question the world around them and is where you can expect to see the elements of our Nest Play curriculum and many other activities come to life. Our Penguins curriculum includes the Global Gull Spanish Language Program. 10-12 minutes are set aside each day to introduce and practice new Spanish vocabulary. Words are selected that relate together in a common theme. Manipulatives and realistic images are used alongside learning new words. New Spanish vocabulary is incorporated into the children’s learning experiences and opportunities. A few examples of Spanish words we will learn together: Todo Hecho (All Done), Jugar (Play), and Sí (Yes). *Please note that tuition rates are subject to change.*

Infant Daycare

Infant program offering a physically and emotionally safe place for your baby to explore and learn about the world around them. Shoe-free policy ensures that classrooms are clean and safe for little ones to move around. Daily routine includes time outdoors, group time, and discovery baskets for sensory exploration. Trained teachers spend time cuddling, singing, and reading to your child.

Toddler Daycare

Toddlers are on the go, exploring and learning new things throughout each day. Classrooms are kid-size in design, allowing children to do more things independently, building their self-confidence. Photos of the children’s families cover the walls of the classroom, creating a sense of community. Our infant program serves children from the ages of six weeks to eighteen months. Our loving and nurturing caregivers respond to each child's needs in our clean, warm and inviting environments. Our goal is designed to duplicate the loving care and nurturing that an infant needs to grow and develop to his or her full potential. Flexible scheduling allows each child to eat, sleep or play according to his or her own natural timetable. Our rooms are equipped with age appropriate materials that provide freedom of movement and gentle stimulation. Babies have their own crib and the attention of the same staff members daily with a low child to staff ratio. Parents receive a written or electronic report daily including all meals, diaper changes, and sleep schedules. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*

Toddlers

The toddler program is designed to meet the developmental needs of children from ages 18 months to approximately 36 months. Each toddler classroom is especially designed to provide a beautiful, nurturing environment; the furniture is child-sized and the classroom materials are meticulously maintained and carefully chosen to meet the developmental needs of children at this age. The daily schedule is intentionally unobtrusive and provides plenty of opportunities for learning, cuddling, napping or socializing indoors and outdoors.
