Our ducklings curriculum also includes our Global Gull American Sign Language Program. Most young children begin to talk around 12 months old, while some infants even try to communicate with their parents and caregivers even earlier! One way of helping our young children express their feelings, wants, and needs without crying and frustration of a lack of understanding from adults is through simple sign language, commonly known as ‘Baby Core Signs.’ These core signs include words like milk, sleep, play, all done, more, mother, father, etc. *Please note that tuition rates are subject to change.*

Penguins: The early preschool years are nothing short of amazing! Children at this age have an overwhelming eagerness to learn and you will notice that their ability to experiment, explore, and focus on set activities begins to change rapidly. Our Penguin program supports young preschoolers and their need to be challenged, engaged, and encouraged in their learning and personal interests. All of this is done with the belief that children learn best through play! The success of our preschool classrooms truly lies in the environment and materials that have been carefully selected to provide our preschool children with a high-quality learning experience. The individual learning environments in these classrooms invite children in to explore, create, wonder, and question the world around them and is where you can expect to see the elements of our Nest Play curriculum and many other activities come to life. Our Penguins curriculum includes the Global Gull Spanish Language Program. 10-12 minutes are set aside each day to introduce and practice new Spanish vocabulary. Words are selected that relate together in a common theme. Manipulatives and realistic images are used alongside learning new words. New Spanish vocabulary is incorporated into the children’s learning experiences and opportunities. The Director and Assistant Director are helpful and experts in childcare. I trust them with my life, my daughter and have no worries about her care or her growth. They are an exceptional school that is beyond prepared her for Kindergarten. We love being a part of the Nest family and feel so lucky that my daughter has had this opportunity for her Pre-School years.
I have enjoyed the friendly staff that has been very welcoming and working with me to resolve the issues we have been having. Her amazing teacher (Ms. Winter) has made sure that our daughter has felt comfortable and welcomed each day she has arrived at school. She has nothing but kind things to say about the students and is very cheery!
We like the structured schedule and learning activities. We also like the fact that lunches and snacks are provided. The school age field trips are great and keep the kids excited.
