The Elementary Program (Grades 1–5) at KMS follows a Reggio-inspired, project-based philosophy. PKS's Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool uses an emergent curriculum built around children's own ideas and interests, with bilingual Mandarin and English learning woven through projects, play, art, and inquiry so that all students develop basic Mandarin skills by the end of their first year.

Ovsanna Misserlian Preschool is KZV Armenian School's early childhood program, where classes are conducted entirely in the Armenian language and a child-initiated, developmentally appropriate creative curriculum addresses social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical growth. Teachers and assistants are bilingual, experienced, and trained in pediatric CPR and First Aid.

We are dedicated to providing an excellent early-childhood education experience. We assist in developing our students academically, socially, and spiritually through a variety of activities. We nurture creativity in our students, helping them discover the joy of exploration and learning.

Elementary School

Studies include reading, math, English, spelling, health, safety, social studies, science, handwriting, and art. To enrich the curriculum, we also introduce a foreign language (Spanish). Students have music class, where they are introduced to musical notes and instruments and sing songs of Praise.
