Junior Kindergarten

Our Junior Kindergarten program is for children not quite old enough for kindergarten or who may need additional skill development. This is the path for young 5-year-olds. We explore the structure and format of a day in kindergarten, with developmentally appropriate kindergarten curriculum. This program helps develop the critical skills your child needs for elementary school, such as: following multi-step instructions, organizing work, controlling impulses, sustaining attention, and finding multiple ways to solve problems. Prekindergarten Program

Final year of preschool designed to prepare children for kindergarten. Program puts a strong emphasis on literacy and language arts. Daily routine includes: reading, writing, math, science, Spanish instruction, movement, art, and music. Teachers model respect and kindness, and children learn how to resolve conflicts and build friendships. Children also learn to express themselves through writing and telling complete stories.

Preschool Program

Hands-on preschool program with a strong focus on school readiness. Children are encouraged to think independently and express their individuality. Your child’s day is filled with creating, experimenting, and imaginary play. Curriculum includes: math, science, language, and spanish. Children begin to expand social skills and build friendships.

L’Academy’s Pre-K / TK program prepares children for kindergarten with a focus on early literacy, math, and independence. Through structured lessons and classroom leadership opportunities, children build confidence, problem-solving skills, and readiness for the next stage of learning.

Preschool Program

L’Academy’s preschool program nurtures whole-child development with play-based learning inspired by Reggio Emilia and Montessori. Children build confidence, collaboration, and critical thinking while developing bilingual skills through Spanish immersion, Mandarin enrichment, and English readiness.

Pre-kindergarten & Kindergarten

Students need to be 4 years by the month of December to join the program. Classrooms are setup for 24 students with a 1:12 teacher to student ratio. Classrooms are equipped with the full range of Montessori activities. Along with Montessori lessons, students are introduced to an array of new topics every week. Students' complete theme based math and language worksheets on a daily basis. Teachers track the students' progress in the class and fill out an evaluation form for each child. Parent teacher conferences are conducted twice a year where the teacher gets to share each student's progress and development goals with the parent. This is a well rounded program that focuses on intellectual, cognitive, social and emotional growth of the child and prepare students for elementary education.
