We all have our own unique schedules and demands on our time. At The Children’s Courtyard, we recognize that scheduling needs may vary by family—or even by the day. That’s why we offer Drop-In Care: Purchase child care days ahead of time, then use them as needed. Prepaid Flex Care cards are sold in five-day increments and are good for a full year. Once you’ve completed your enrollment paperwork, we just need 48 hours’ notice to reserve a spot for your child.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Infants

Our highly professional, well trained staff ensure a safe, fun and creative learning environment. All the children are given opportunities through age appropriate activities to develop their large motor skills, verbal skills and social skills. Our Infant room is brightly decorated and very inviting.

Pre-Toddlers

Our Experienced teachers are equipped with well-planned age appropriate activities in which the children learn basic skills like sorting, fingertip grasping, basic shape classification and develop their verbal, social, gross and fine motor skills.

Infants

In our Infant program, our teachers are always interacting with the children to encourage their mental and physical development, in addition to holding and cuddling them. Your child will be introduced to our baby sign language program, learn to grasp toys, vocalize sounds, recognize pictures of familiar objects, and acquire a variety of other skills. Teachers work with each child in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of feeding and play. The teacher reinforces the infants’ development without disrupting their daily schedule.

Toddlers

Our Toddler program provides opportunities for children to physically explore their world inside the classroom and on the playground. They also begin more structured activities, such as learning centers and circle time. Your toddler will begin learning concepts of color and size, build their vocabulary, and explore foundational scientific concepts. Our teachers understand the challenges that one-year-olds face in a social learning setting, and have experience in helping them adjust to the give and take of the classroom environment.

Your toddler is constantly learning new things about the world around them. At The Goddard School®, our team is here to work with your little one every day as they play, learn and gain the skills they need to prepare for preschool.
