Toddlers

Our toddler program guides children to develop new skills and explore new experiences in various developmental areas at their own pace. Children thrive in a nurturing environment. One that also offers appropriate opportunities to develop their full potential. We emphasize building your child’s independence and fostering their natural curiosity. Preschool

Our preschool program provides your child with rich experiences that are adapted to the developmental needs of each child. Preschool is an exciting (and crucial) time for a child’s academic and social growth. This age sets the stage for the future. That is why we meet the needs of each child. Our classrooms provide a welcoming environment for discovery and exploration that will spark your child’s natural curiosity. Toddlers are quickly learning so much about the world around them, developing faster than almost any other age group. They are all about speed — learning to sing, talk and run all at once. Lightbridge Academy’s Toddler Program is designed to make the most of every one of their fast-paced milestones. Our curriculum specifically addresses toddlers’ rapid growth and development by catering to their readiness cues, with the older toddler curriculum focused on preparing for preschool and beyond. When they display interest or signs of emerging skills, we can encourage them to move to the next challenge.

Preschool provides the freedom and opportunity for children to develop and grow in independence and confidence. An engaged child learns! While having fun, they aren’t even aware they are developing reading and math skills. In addition, your child will gain the social skills necessary to succeed in Pre-K and beyond. Through small and large group instruction and activities, teachers focus on every child as an individual — enabling them to gain knowledge and thrive. Our proprietary Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum utilizes theme-based lessons to strengthen your child’s emerging skills in reading, writing, science, technology and math. Additionally, we help prepare your child for the structured learning environment of a kindergarten classroom through teacher-guided instruction and child-led exploration focused on effective communication, the ability to follow instruction and how to work cooperatively with peers.
