Cultural Care Au Pair
Description provided by the business. As an official sponsor of the U.S. State Department-regulated au pair program for over 35 years, Cultural Care has placed more than 175,000 au pairs in the homes of American host families. These au pairs, aged 18–26, live with host families to provide childcare while experiencing American culture. We offers comprehensive support throughout the process, including matching services, visa assistance, training, and ongoing local support. Hosting an au pair means live-in childcare in your home. This cultural exchange program allows an au pair from another country to provide up to 10 hours/day and 45 hours/week of childcare on a schedule you decide. Basic requirements include providing a suitable private bedroom for your au pair in your home. Visit our website to learn more about the unique benefits and requirements of hosting an au pair!

Having an au pair adds so much flexibility to our childcare needs, since every week can be different for us with work schedules and travel. It is also amazing to have someone who can travel with us on family vacations and experience these amazing moments alongside us.
Although I was apprehensive to host an au pair, this has been the best childcare experience I have ever had. It is amazing how quickly the right person can become a part of your family.
Culture Care made it easy to find a wonderful fit for our family and Giuli has been incredible. With her, we have achieved some work-life balance in our lives by having more flexibility. I’ve told others, it was like letting a little air out of the balloon—there’s no longer so much pressure on my shoulders all the time.
Cultural Care made the au pair matching process so easy to navigate and gave such assurance throughout the process. Beyond keeping us anchored as a family, she has taught the boys to dance traditional Mexican dance and speak Spanish!
Thanks to Cultural Care Au Pair, we have hosted 3 au pairs over the past 6 years. Each experience has been exactly what our family needed. Our au pairs have always felt like a part of our family and touched our hearts in special ways.
Cultural Care Au Pair has so many options for au pairs and that's a big bonus. I appreciate all their guidance through the process. It's hard to put into words what our au pair Norma has done for us—it has been wonderful.
We are so grateful and thankful that Paloma has joined our family. We are so fortunate to have such a thoughtful and wonderful au pair with us. She is truly apart of our family. We have shared with multiple other Seattle families to join Cultural Care Au Pair because of our wonderful experience with Paloma.
Welcoming an au pair into our home was a nerve-wracking initial experience, but we couldn't be happier with how well it's worked out. My husband and I both have demanding jobs, but Judith takes away so much stress since we know our precious daughters are getting the best care possible from her.
We were originally on the fence between a daycare, and an au pair. We are very glad that we chose an au pair. Since coming to live with us and take care of Eric, Alyssa has sought out library story times on her own, helped us find the best parks in the area, and has identified some excellent local enriching activities for toddlers. Most importantly, Alyssa has become our son’s best friend. When she makes him laugh, it is pure joy to watch!
Cultural Care is thorough, detailed and provides a wealth of knowledge through a variety of resources throughout the process of finding an au pair and hosting an au pair. We’re so happy with our choice to work with Cultural Care! We have also found it very useful to participate in the zoom video sessions which are all packed with helpful information and guidance.
via trustpilot.comWe considered a number of companies for hiring our au pair. In the end we went with Cultural Care due to the great interactions with our local coordinator. The local coordinator was very forthcoming with possible cultural miscommunications when interviewing and hiring an au pair. The hiring platform was easy to use. Our au pair has made great friends through the frequent au pair events. And our kids love our au pair.
Cultural Care Au Pair clearly spends alot of time finding the really qualified Au Pairs and makes sure the screening process is in depth to find the best Au Pair match for your family. We love our Au Pair!
via trustpilot.comCultural Care has been an awesome experience. We're on year 3 and planning more! Having an Au Pair has given us so many flexibilities that just can't happen through a daycare, baby-sitter, family help situation. My wife and I both work 8-5 jobs so 90% of the time she works then and manages the schedule of our 4 kids. But there are times where we need to tweak hours or make a date night happen and it's a simple text to move some hours around. Our family has embraced the Au Pair lifestyle! Our au pairs have gone on trips with us, became best friends with our kids, and join us for movie night. We show them America and excited to have made lifelong friends through this program!
My family has had a great experience with Cultural Care. We needed help quickly, and feel very fortunate to have matched with Nicole. She is good with the kids and helps out around the house. Just a little help goes a long way. The local coordinator, Nina, is very helpful and sends information regularly to help encourage communication and ways to enhance the experience for both the Au Pair and the Host Families.
