As children prepare for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities for them to develop the skills they will need while making friends and exploring the world around them. Our Pre-Kindergarten program helps your child learn more about themselves, others and the world around them. Teachers engage in play with students, helping them to develop their social skills and learn more about effective communication. Our Wonder of Learning™ curriculum emphasizes a child-led, teacher-guided approach, encouraging interactive, purposeful learning experiences that allows students to grow their math and literacy skills, preparing them for Kindergarten and beyond.

Georgia Pre-K (VPK)

Georgia's Pre-K Program is a lottery funded educational program for Georgia's four year olds to prepare children for Kindergarten. Children four years of age on September 1 of the current school year who are Georgia residents are eligible to attend Georgia's Pre-K Program during this school year. Georgia’s Pre-K Program is voluntary, so spaces are limited.

Three Year Olds

The focus of our three year old classroom is working on skills needed to be successful in VPK. We work on teacher led instruction in small and large groups while still focusing on basic skills in addition to incorporating music, arts, and free play. Students must be fully potty-trained to be in this class.

Pre-K

Our Pre-K program help prepare children for school as they become more independent, self-confident, and enthusiastic learners. The classrooms have learning centers set up and each center is supplied with books, learning materials, and activities. Typical learning centers in a Pre-K classroom might include math, blocks, reading, art, science, dramatic play, writing, and music. The learning centers are designed to promote various developmental skills in the following 7 areas: Language and Literacy, Math Development, Science Development, Social Studies development, Creative Development, Physical/Health Development, and Social Emotional Development.
