Before & After Care

Stratford offers Extended Day programs to give parents the added convenience to meet their busy schedule. Dedicated and specially trained staff, experienced in working with students, oversees homework and facilitates creative and fun activities. Available as early as 7:00 a.m. before the school day begins and after the school day ends until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, Extended Day provides students with structured time for finishing school work and ample time to socialize, read, play games, and enjoy team challenges or independent activities.

School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Before School Care Program

Kindergarten

In Stratford’s kindergarten program, students tackle math, grammar, phonics, and reading in the morning, while afternoon sessions feature music, writing, Spanish, and science several times each week. Kindergarten students learn to explore subjects more deeply – allowing for greater understanding, more critical thinking, and analysis. Kindergarteners begin formal recitation to develop public speaking skills, and teachers use poetry, music, and reading aloud to promote students’ self-assurance in front of a group. While academically challenging, Stratford kindergarten classes embody the pillars of Stratford School spirit – joyful warmth, sparkling intelligence, and passionate commitment.

Summer Camp

Stratford offers a variety of summer camp options including Day Camps, Academic, Specialty, and Sports Camps. Our campers explore new activities, master new skills, and build lifelong friendships during their time with us in the summer. As our campers head back to school, we’re confident that the incredible experiences they’ve had will give them a head start in the new academic year. That’s why we offer tutoring across all required subject areas and for many electives as well. At Fusion, our teachers are our tutors. They are trained in personalized, one-to-one education and are subject matter experts. In the one-to-one setting, they also act as mentors to their students. NOTE: This tuition rate includes 5 tutoring sessions.
