Our infant program serves children from the ages of six weeks to eighteen months. Our loving and nurturing caregivers respond to each child's needs in our clean, warm and inviting environments. Our goal is designed to duplicate the loving care and nurturing that an infant needs to grow and develop to his or her full potential. Flexible scheduling allows each child to eat, sleep or play according to his or her own natural timetable. Our rooms are equipped with age appropriate materials that provide freedom of movement and gentle stimulation. Babies have their own crib and the attention of the same staff members daily with a low child to staff ratio. Parents receive a written or electronic report daily including all meals, diaper changes, and sleep schedules. *PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer weekend or overnight care.*

Infants

Discovery (6 weeks to 12 months): We celebrate the uniqueness of every baby. To do so, we partner with you to understand your baby’s needs. We provided daily logs of feedings, changings, and updates to keep you informed on all the things—big and little—that are taking place every day for your precious little one. Babies in the Discovery Classrooms will have individual schedules to meet their needs and take part in activities that encourage and develop fine and gross motor skills. To help lift ease the workload for families, we’re partnering with the Cuties Care program to provide diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers while they attend our school. For $10 a week, Cuties Care covers the cost of diapers and wipes. We know parents have a million things to manage—we’re happy to cross diapers off the list. Prices are subject to change.

Pre-K

Pathfinders (4 years old to 5 years old): Children in the Pathfinders Classroom will be asked to complete more concrete tasks to ensure they’re prepared for the next step in their education. Our goal is to ensure your child has mastered all the necessary skills to enter Kindergarten by providing individual planning, challenging your child, and considering their progress. Pre-K children in the Pathfinders Classroom will strengthen math, science, writing, reading, arts, and physical skills through differentiation and small group activities and work on mastering key Kindergarten-required skills. Prices are subject to change.

Montessori Program

The Montessori method is based upon the observations and discoveries of the first female Italian physician, Dr. Maria Montessori. Her philosophy nurtures the joy of learning in children at an early age, providing a framework in which intellectual and social disciplines coexist. She believed that education is a lifelong process, and it should be an aid to life. Her philosophy was that children learn at their own pace and develop according to their own timetable. Their physical, emotional, psychic, and intellectual abilities are interrelated. Children must have freedom, within clearly defined limits, to develop their full potential. Based on this philosophy, Creative Playrooms Montessori Program provides children with a prepared learning environment that helps them think, organize, and observe. The teacher functions as a guide, aiding children in their choice of developmentally appropriate learning materials. This environment, along with the teacher’s role, distinguishes the Montessori Programs from other educational approaches. Our program encourages self-directed learning where the child is free to explore and discover, allowing them to experience the joy of learning and promoting the development of self-esteem. Shoe-free policy ensures that classrooms are clean and safe for little ones to move around. Daily routine includes time outdoors, group time, and discovery baskets for sensory exploration. Summer Camp

Voyagers Summer Camp is all about exploring the world around us and learning about people, places, and things that many of us have only seen on TV or in books. Voyagers (campers) have the flexibility to select from a variety of exciting topics that will take them on incredible journeys to far-off destinations where they will learn about people such as Louis Armstrong, places like the Great Wall of China, and things such as the Eiffel Tower!

School Age

Voyagers (5 years old to 12 years old): The Voyagers Classroom is designed to meet the unique needs of school-aged children. Most activities are child-led, which means students focus on their interests and move easily between activities. The children in this classroom get a balance of flexibility and structure—they have the time and space for schoolwork and fun with games, activities, and outside time. School-age children in the Voyagers Classroom will do homework in a quiet area and be provided with help as needed, enjoy learning stations for STEM, sensory explorations, and building challenges, and join in organized outdoor activities (kickball, soccer, tag-related games) plus reading and arts and crafts.
