Our strong academic program, coupled with nurturing care, is a successful combination for your kindergartner. Entering first grade, your Lightbridge Academy graduate will have a considerable advantage over other students. Our teachers follow a detailed curriculum that exceeds state educational requirements, bringing together the fundamentals of education into theme-based lessons that impact the whole child. While educating your child, we reinforce important life skills such as communication, kindness, respect, honesty and sharing. We provide programs to ensure readiness for first grade. This includes reading for kindergarten, and a continued learning of technology and art. Our kindergarten classes combine our L.E.A.P early education curriculum with an environment of fun, open-ended exploration, investigation, discovery, and building self-confidence and self-esteem. Our before & after school program is offered for children ages 5-12 on regular school days. We also offer full-day programs for all out of school days and camps during school breaks, including Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Camp.

Get ready for a summer full of adventure, creativity, and unforgettable memories! Our exciting, theme-based program keeps children engaged, active, and inspired all summer long. Each week brings a brand-new adventure featuring hands-on activities, water play days, outdoor exploration, creative arts, STEM projects, themed events, and plenty of opportunities to build friendships. From imaginative play and science experiments to music, movement, and team-building games, every day is designed to spark curiosity and confidence in a safe, nurturing environment. Our experienced and caring staff create a fun, structured setting where children can explore their interests, try new things, and grow socially and academically — all while having the best summer ever! We offer weekly themed camps, indoor and outdoor activities, splash days & special events, age-appropriate enrichment experiences, and a safe, secure, and engaging campus. Spaces fill quickly!! Before & After School

Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Drop-In Care

With our Flex Care program, you can purchase child care days in advance to use, as you need them—all year long. You get reliability and flexibility, and your child gets to experience our proven curriculum in a fun, safe, and secure environment. You can purchase prepaid cards in five-day increments through your school, and each is good for one full year. After completing the enrollment paperwork, just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.

SAT Prep & College Readiness

At Sylvan Learning, your teen will master the skills needed to raise ACT® or SAT® test scores! Our test prep and college readiness experts use a combination of small-group instruction, independent learning, online resources and full-length practice tests to deliver real results!

Tutoring in Writing

At Sylvan Learning, your child will experience significant growth in writing. We’ve perfected a highly personal approach, tailoring lessons to your child’s specific needs, from strengthening writing mechanics and mastering proper sentence structures to encouraging creative expression.

Summer Adventure Club

School-Age Childcare Program

Elementary

We offer a 1st-6th grade elementary program that is fully Montessori based. Their school day is 8am-2:30pm. We also offer before & after school care for those who need it. Along with a Summer Camp program from the time school ends to when the next year begins.

After School (ASK)

We offer a school age after school program where we will pick up our elementary students as well as students from local elementary schools. Days school is closed enrolled students have the option of attending our program for the day.
