Description
Nido, which means “nest” in Italian, perfectly describes the nurturing setting for our youngest learners. At this stage, small children are seen as explorers and scientists. The multi-sensory navigations of their environment, the spontaneity of observing, the desire to experience life with and through their body and the pleasure of enjoying human development in a natural way are the focus of our curriculum. A successful early learning environment fosters a community marked by meaningful relationships among young children and the adults in their lives—parents, teachers, and caregivers. These connections flourish through shared learning experiences in nature and through emotional connections. The community cultivates and sustains developmentally appropriate conditions that enable children to optimize their individual potential. From this perspective, the cultivation of purposeful practices, presenting thoughtfully prepared environments that challenge children, emerges as the ideal blueprint for the development of positive school experiences for children and their families.

Description
As children transition from the Nido program to our Preschool program, they enter a phase of the curriculum that builds upon on their expanded vocabulary. Collaboration and communication become the cornerstones of all activities. Within this framework, children are prompted to engage in small peer groups, fostering the exploration, design, and presentation of their projects. This approach encourages learners to formulate hypotheses, investigate processes, and draw conclusions, empowering them to articulate and defend ideas, building confidence in their ability to formulate individual opinions and become the authors of their own learning journeys. Explorations are based upon long term projects throughout the year, allowing students to build upon previously mastered concepts, deepening their ability to learn. Through these interdisciplinary projects, children engage in foundational learning skills such as math, science, social studies, and language arts in meaningful ways.

Parent Reviews
We've been at Prodigy since the end of May and have nothing but great things to say. I love how we can work together, and how open they are with feedback. Our son looks forward to going to school again and he is thriving there.
We enrolled both our kids at Prodigy Early Learning at The Settlement back in April, and it’s been an incredible experience from day one. They’re thriving—learning things they never picked up at other centers—and every pickup comes with a new story or skill they’re excited to share. The teachers and directors are truly wonderful, and our kids adore them. The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for high-quality learning environment.
They have been absolutely amazing. My son is thriving there and their staff is so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this daycare it’s by far the best one we have been to yet! Brand new facility and they do so much with the kids!
The Prodigy at the Settlement has been an absolute blessing for us. Our 2 year old really struggled at his previous daycare but Tina, Kayla, and Kyai have been absolutely wonderful with our child. The curriculum is phenomenal and very much driven by exploration and discovery. He's learned so so much in the time he's been here. We get detailed updates including photos of their activities throughout the day. Our child literally takes Ms Tina by the hand and off to his classroom he goes. No tears. No meltdowns. Nothing. They meet your child where they are. We really could not ask for more! We have been so impressed.
We could not be happier with the education and care our kids (2 & 4) receive at Prodigy Early Learning! Both of them cannot wait to go to school every morning and that is because of the incredible teachers and curriculum. We absolutely love how much they dive deep into topics related to their current unit (oceanography, dinosaurs, and now space), with incredible hands-on, experiential projects appropriate for each age-level. The facilities are some of the best we've seen at an Early Learning Center, with spacious classrooms, an art room, a separate lunch room, etc. Tina and Linda do such an amazing job of keeping everything running smoothly - our kids look forward to seeing them each day! We highly recommend Prodigy Early Center!!
