Transitional Kindergarten

Our Transitional Kindergarten program is designed for children who are not quite ready for our Kindergarten program and their birthday falls between September 2 and February 2. It provides an exceptional opportunity for children to learn all of the Kindergarten essentials at a pace that helps build confidence and skills and sets them up for success in Kindergarten and beyond.

Our preschool program provides an enriching hands-on learning experience with specially formulated Montessori materials for math, language, sensorial exploration, practical life activities, art, science, second language, music, history, and geography. Our preschool children develop observation and problem-solving skills. Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten as they learn letter-sound relationships and sight-word recognition, and gain an understanding that writing is used to express thoughts and ideas. Children explore concrete mathematical concepts, such as simple addition and subtraction. Our character education program helps develop the strong social and emotional skills that ensure a successful transition to kindergarten.

Our Pre-K 2 program is designed for children who have completed Pre-K, or whose birth dates are after the kindergarten cut-off. This program further builds on skills developed in Pre-K, but with additional levels of academic rigor and enrichment opportunities to create higher levels of cognitive reasoning and understanding.

Pre-kindergarten & Kindergarten

Students need to be 4 years by the month of December to join the program. Classrooms are setup for 24 students with a 1:12 teacher to student ratio. Classrooms are equipped with the full range of Montessori activities. Along with Montessori lessons, students are introduced to an array of new topics every week. Students' complete theme based math and language worksheets on a daily basis. Teachers track the students' progress in the class and fill out an evaluation form for each child. Parent teacher conferences are conducted twice a year where the teacher gets to share each student's progress and development goals with the parent. This is a well rounded program that focuses on intellectual, cognitive, social and emotional growth of the child and prepare students for elementary education.
