GGUSD State Preschool

The GGUSD State Preschool Program is a highly rated preschool experience for 3 & 4 year olds. We have highly qualified teachers, a strong focus on student social/emotional development, as well as a play-based learning environment. We have 21 classrooms at 11 sites around the district.

TK & Kindergarten Enrichment

The Catalyst Kids Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten program provides a supportive, enriching environment for children as they embark on their early school journey. Designed as a seamless extension of the school day, our curriculum fosters discovery, creativity, and critical thinking through hands-on activities and structured enrichment. Using Catalyst Kids Learning Through Literacy, we integrate English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies into engaging, literature-based experiences that build motivation, foundational skills, and core values. Children participate in STEM projects, creative expression activities, leadership opportunities, and structured physical development, all tailored to their interests and developmental needs. A balanced daily schedule includes meeting time to foster community, structured homework and academic enrichment, nutritious meals served family-style, and 30 Fit, ensuring active movement for a healthy lifestyle. Children explore long-term interests through specialized clubs and enjoy open recreation time with access to quiet spaces, dramatic play, and outdoor activities. Our dedicated teachers create meaningful connections, guiding children with respect and creativity. Camps

The Catalyst Kids Camps program offers an exciting and enriching experience where children can explore new interests, build friendships, and develop essential skills in a fun and supportive environment. Each day of camp is designed to encourage discovery, creativity, and collaboration, with hands-on activities that reinforce Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) concepts. Campers stay active and engaged through themed projects, team-building exercises, and outdoor play while enjoying nutritious snacks and meals that promote a healthy lifestyle. Our dedicated Camp Leaders recognize each child’s unique contributions, fostering confidence and a sense of belonging within the camp community. With camps available during summer, spring, and winter breaks, Catalyst Kids ensures that time off from school remains dynamic and meaningful. Children have the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, try new activities, and make lasting memories in a safe and engaging setting. Whether it's experimenting with a new art form, playing a new sport, or making new friends, our camps provide the perfect balance of structured learning and playful adventure, making every break a season of growth and excitement.

Pre-Primary

In our Pre-Primary community, we greatly emphasize preparing an environment in which each child has the ability to move and explore, which supports the development of their self-knowledge.

Primary Program

Our primary classroom is a mixed age environment with an expanded academic curriculum. The young child learns from the older child and from imitation. For the older child, learning is reinforced by providing an example to the younger ones.

Beginning Preschool

This program is the first experience for many children in a preschool setting.We provide a nurturing environment with many activities to help children make a smooth transition from home to school. Potty training is not required in this program. We are happy to partner with families when ready.
